What do you guys think of Eric Young replicating Jericho's WCW gimmick with Goldberg by calling out Jeff Hardy each week in funny skits. Like one week, he brings out a chart showing the lineage of the TNA belt except Jeff is replaced by a time warp so the belt went directly to EY. He can also claim jeff is hiding behind his muscle so he hires a Ralphus-like bodyguard and call him MATTHIAS. Meanwhile, he actually wins tag matches cleanly with Orlando Jordan. Eventually, EY starts to "scout" Jeff's matches and costs him matches, forcing Immortal to deal with EY. All this could either build to an EY-Jeff Hardy title match or just a tag team feud between EY, OJ and Immortal.

Replicate a WCW storyline? Are you secretly part of TNA creative?

Replicate a WCW storyline? Are you secretly part of TNA creative? No he wants to recreate a GOOD WCW storyline. I like it I do hope eventually this does lead to a ppv match with Eric Young and Jeff Hardy, and the angle just doesn;t get radomly dropped

If it ends up exactly like jericho's (giving him a reason to leave TNA and go to the WWE) then i'm all for it.

So, they'll build the storyline up for a couple of months and just when everybody wants to see Eric Young vs. Jeff Hardy, they'll drop it and have EY face Shark Boy?
Seems like something TNA would do.

Wouldn't work with Jeff Hardy.
I mean, he's a bad guy. People hate him. The pay-off to this feud has to be the target kicking the challengers ass. And I don't want to see Hardy kick Young's ass.
Especially seeing as, logically, RVD is the long-term defeater of Jeff Hardy.

I would love it but its not going to happen. I just like the idea of Young defending "his" belt. Then eventually being recognized by half the roster as champ. Hardy gets pissed that people aren't recognizing him as the real champ and suddenly starts to target EY.
It wouldn't get EY over as a main guy but it would make him somewhat relevant again. Plus too it would be funny that people would forget Hardy is the real champ.

Matt Morgan made a comment on Reaction saying that he wants the real TNA belt, not the one given to Jeff Hardy. It would be kind of interesting to see the non-Immortal roster shun Hardy's belt because of who he's aligned with, making him have to earn recognition as champ even though by all rights he already is the champ.

I like this idea too. It keeps the "real" belt relevant and useful until the Hardy belt can be retired / unified, it gives EY something useful to do, and helps to create that sort of "us vs. them" mentality that we need with an Immortal-type faction. See, THIS is the storyline that should have a TNA Frontline group trying to battle against the big baddies. Otherwise, who is Immortal really fighting against besides Dixie?

If Eric Young challenged Hardy and won, becoming the official TNA champ - then that would be a great storyline.
As this is TNA and Eric Young wasn't in ECW, WCW or WWE(F) - it won't be happening.
