... I don't know what's gotten into me. This is very hard for me to even type right now, but I have gotten into trouble twice this week for bullying and bad attitudes.
I argued with a teacher about logging into my Facebook account during academic times. I served a lunch detention, and that was that. But that is only the tip of the iceburg.
Just today, I was coming back up form lunch with a friend on the elevator, and he starts yelling at me to close the door. It turns out there were two kids with disability's that had trouble walking that he hated, and didn't want them in there with us. I didn't think twice. I slammed the elevator door in there faces, nearly crushing one of there fingers. ON DISABLED TEENAGERS.
Bye detention, hello possible SUSPENSION.
I.... I've been such a dick recently, it's not even funny. I'm sure your like me wondering what on earth was I thinking during all of this. And the truth is, I really don't know. This is just so hard on me. I've never done anything like this before. Please, please give me some advice. This isn't the real me.

Without really going into detail, is there things in your personal life that might be stressing you out? Have you had episodes of this before?

Well you're really young so you will learn from your mistakes. Just do not repeat them.

No, this is the first time I've been such a jerk. Perhaps it's the friends I'm around, but all I know for sure is that is not my personality I'm used to. It's like somebody else took over my body.

On the plus side you realize you're being a dick, simply by doing that, not blaming anyone or anything else, but admitting you behaved dickishly.....you become LESS of a dick.
On the FB thing, just don't do it again...it's that simple, as for the door thing.....that's a bit trickier.
First confront your friend, he was the one being a dick there, let him know you feel bad for almost injuring the guy(s). Then, seek out the guys who you slammed the door in thier face and apologize, even if they don't accept the apology, you've owned up to your dickishness and made the effort to make amends, after that the ball's in their court.

you shouldn't worry too much about it, not until you do something really awful anyway. I know what you mean too, from about middle school through most of college I was basically the worst human being (morally, anyway) I've ever known, only I was less aware of it than you seem to be. The good news is, I grew out of it. I would imagine that is the case most of the time.

You're not a bad person. You're 13. You're not even really a person yet.

Wait....you're 13?!
Well.....damn I do feel old.....anyhoo....seriously take the initiative and apologize above all else. At the very least it might clear your conscience.

Lodirulz,
Well, you might not like the perspective of a teacher, but here goes...
I think it's a positive that you have realized your behaviour isn't 'you' at this point in your life. Part of it might be the friends you are hanging out with, part of it might be you just testing who/what you will become.
It's up to you, at this point, to figure out what will make you the 'you' that you can live with, the you that you will like. One mistake doesn't necessarily define you as a type of person for the rest of your life, and the good news is that you have time to change your behaviour to match what you expect from yourself.
We all act like 'jerks' at some point in our life - whether following a bad example, being stressed or ticked - but if we seek to recognize our faults and bring more happiness to those around us than hurt, we can turn out just fine.
You can turn out just fine as well... learn from the experiences you're having and 'be the change' you want to see in the world.

First off, f*** getting a detention for going onto facebook. Either get a phone with a web browser and sneakily do it at other times or just avoid it altogether. Don't use the school's computers. Your school is cheap as f*** for not having blocker software on social networking sites.
Second off, f*** those disabled kids too. You shouldn't have to hold elevators for anyone. All you had to say to not get in trouble was:
1) You were in a hurry 2) You didn't see them 3) You're sorry if anyone got hurt and you are willing to apologize.
Learn how to smooth talk and you'll be getting reprimands instead of suspensions. I did similar shit all through school and never got disciplined because I knew how to work the staff.

I don't know how old you are mate, but you could still be feeling the effects of teenage growth.
Luckily puberty didn't hit me until I was 20, so I acted like a dick in the dole office instead.

Well, at least you REALIZED you made a jerk move. Now it's time to accept responsibility for your life. Man up, apologize to the people and move on.

Yes, you did act like a dick but you've evidently realized this. So long as you apologize and set the record straight then you should be right.

I know people like that, they do dick things OCCASIONALLY and feel bad about it later. I think its just the act of growing up, learning from your mistakes. Have it, I know guys mature slower than girls (pointed out by a poster above me) At my school we can't access facebook/youtube/myspace. I's surprised I can even access this forum at school seeing as a lot of you guys have chicks in your sig Though some smart people discovered you can enter facebook by putting a 's' at the end of http. I don't do it because I don't want to get in trouble for stupid s*** like that when I can just wait till i get home ( for some reason I can get on twitter ;D ) Ha. We aren't allowed to use the elevator only those handicapped (broken leg, wheelchair) can. As for the disabled kids that sucks. Good that you feel bad though, if you didn't then you would REALLY be a huge dick. Try to think of the consequences more. Trust me. If you are in junior high and you think punishment is bad, high school is way worse seeing as your actions from there affect college/job applications in the future. It also could be the guys you hang out with. They perhaps don't feel the way you do with the whole guilt thing as just push it to the side. The point isn't to change friends but have a different mindset from them. Don't follow a negative path if they are on one. Joke around all you want but when it comes to making choices think for yourself. Maybe to give you a little push, girls don't find anything you did attractive. Most of them at least. Still glad you confronted that what you did was wrong though. Thats a step in maturing

We are all douchebags every now and then, what you did doesnt sound that bad at all, arguing with a teacher about something you are the one in the wrong is almost a rite of passage, the elevator thing is bad, but it doesnt make you that horrible a person... chill dude, just be more atent to the fact you dont want to be a douche, its not that big of a deal.

Remorse for what you did to those handicapped/disabled kids is a good thing, young man. As a few other folks have stated, being your age is an awkward time in life when you're just starting to find out and shape the person you'll be as an adult. I too suggest that you seek out the kids you did that to, and apologize to them. You never know, you may have something in common with one of those kids, and end up making a great friend.
As for your teacher & being on Facebook, the best thing you could do is apologize to your teacher as well. Before class, after class, in a note, at the top of a paper you do in class, however you feel comfortable doing it. At your age, school is the absolute most important thing you need to focus your efforts on.
Take this metaphorical advice from someone who DIDN'T pay attention in class as much as he should have, and disrespected quite a few teachers & autority figures along the way- you get more flies with honey than piss.
Oh yeah, and if you don't get on the right path, YOU'RE GONNA BE LIVING IN A VAN DOWN BY THE RIVER!

I apologized to to the disabled kids today: They luckily forgave me. The next stop is the teacher tomorrow.
