Similar to the who you would want to wrestle like, who would you want to be? Personal lives are excluded. Talking only wrestling careers here with just slightly personal things which drift off into career being included (such as injuries, health, etc.) to differentiate from the other thread.
For example, Andre the Giant died in January 1993. So your career would obviously be over very early in the 90s decade.
I'd have to think a bit. There are a few wrestlers I have in mind, though.

Chris Sabin, X Division pioneer, one half of arguably the most exciting tag team right now.
And.. you know... you get to go home and have Velvet nurse your injuries better?
Yeah, Sabin.

The Rock, of course.
Win a world title and establish yourself as a humongously popular star only two years after your WWF debut, wrestle as one of the top headliners during an immensely profitable boom period, and leave the business while still fairly young and injury-free in order to pursue lucrative offers from Hollywood.
That's pretty much the best career any pro wrestler could ever dream of having.

Jerry Lawler since he can work a crowd like nobody's buisness. Even though his worked punch looks legit, he has a very safe style that has saved him from major injuries and still works a semi regular schedule of matches into his 60's.

If we're talking just wrestling careers, then Hogan. If we're including the totality of a person's professional life, then the Rock.

Nash. I love Big sexy. He has made a ton of money and is known all over the world. All of this he did by working lite for the last 10-12 years. Smartest man in wrestling

HBK. Party in the 90's. Redemption in the 2000's. Always considered one of the best workers and I'd be inspiring a good amount of talent to get into the business...but i'd have to do something about the hair later in life.
