Rico is the manliest man that ever lived. He is so manly he had to play a homosexual on tv because he was too manly for the others.
Seriously, he is like the real life version of Chuck Norris if Chuck Norris were a real person

I mean, after seeing him play a gay guy on TV, I didn't know what to think of the guy until I read that the guy used to be a cop and such. The guy is too badass that he played a gay guy on TV when he was a cop before becoming a wrestler.

If Steve Blackman hadn't pretty much retired by the time Rico had emerged, they would have been an interesting tag team and the one team you wouldn't want mad at you in real life.

Needs his sideburns back. Also can't forget to mention that he won on the original American Gladiators.

He actually was the Singing cop in the Village People at one point before being a wrestler

Did they ever say right-out his Rico character was gay? Or did they just "imply" it? I don't really remember them actually "saying" he was gay; you know, like Goldust in 1996. The implication gave that impression, but Vince would use words like "androgynous" or "unique" to draw away from what may be construed as "so obviously gay". Just because you're the official stylist & fashion consultant of Billy & Chuck and you're all wigged out over the top doesn't mean anything unless it's been explicitly said.
Good to hear he's doing well.

Rico's awesome. As much as I wish he had a longer, more successful run in wrestling, I'm glad to see he's happily retired, making a living, and lookin' good.

Good for him. He was smart and lucky he had the background he had, so he had something to fall back on when he retired. If I ever get out to LV, I'll keep an eye out for him.

There's a story in that book about wrestlers road stories that the WWE put out a few years ago that talks about how Rico single handily stopped an unruly passenger on a plane. The story is a lot cooler than what I'm explaining right now lol but it just proved how much of a badass he truly is.

Good for him. I remember back in tha day there was a little bit of rigmarole about his age holding him back, but he had a somewhat successful run, and quit the business on his own terms to return to solid work. A success story, in my eyes.

Needs his sideburns back. Also can't forget to mention that he won on the original American Gladiators. He, however, did not win the Grand Championship for the season he was on. He lost in the Eliminator to Craig Branham by just 2 seconds.
