What wrestlers are tough in real life? As much as it annoys me to hear non-fans say that wrestlers aren't really tough, or the ignorant thoughts that anybody could kick a professional wrestler's ass, I sometimes laugh because there are some wrestlers out there who are actually tough as nails and can kick ass. Some I have heard who are actually tough: -Haku/Meng (Have to start the list with this one. I heard that he once bit off a guy's nose. I heard he can brawl and is one tough dude.) -Terry Funk -Any martial artist or MMA guy who has actually wrestled (Like Steve Blackman, Ken Shamrock, Dan Severn, etc.) -Bad News Allen
I can't think of anymore right now.

in his prime i'd probably say mick foley. Only because of his insane tolerance for pain, in a fight against someone who knew what they were doing, as much as I love him Foley'd go down like a marshmellow.

I've heard that Tracy Smothers is someone you do NOT want to f*** with outside the ring.

Jos LeDuc. He pulled moving cars and cut his arm with a damn axe!

Bob Roop was a hell of a shooter.

The following were/are great MMA fighters.
Kazushi Sakuraba Dan Severn Don Frye Ken Shamrock Kazuyuki Fujita Brock Lesnar Kiyoshi Tamura Minowaman Volk Han Masakatsu Funaki Minoru Suzuki
So I'm pretty sure you wouldn't want to f*** with any of these guys.

I'd say the majority TBH the training alone would toughen most up substantially.

Saturn, if that story about him beating up two guys while ignoring a bullet wound in his neck has any truth to it.

I believe Ric Flair's book mentions Stan Hansen and Dick Slater as genuine tough-guy badasses.
Cena must be pretty tough to come back from both torn pec muscle and neck surgery as quickly as he did.

Some good picks so far.
I've also heard Dick Murdoch, Hercules Hernandez, Rick Rude, Billy Jack Haynes, Bam Bam Bigelow, Peter Maivia, Billy Robinson, and a lesser known one - Sonny King.
Of course, if you go back to the early days of wrestling, damn near everyone was a shooter.

While not a big guy, I've heard Brian Pillman was pretty tough in his own right. Took down lots of bigger guys.

Ron Simmons, the Steiners, Al Perez.
Another one I've heard that might surprise some people, partly because of his gimmick around the end of his career and partly because he ended up out of shape, was Adrian Adonis.

I would've loved to have seen Haku in an MMA environment in his prime.
