My latest PPV in my TEW 05 Game:
MWF: The Ides of February! (A)
Sunday, WK 4 February 2011 (2010 scenario) Phillips Arena (14,963 of 15,000) 472,120 buys (a disappointment, thought this would be my first to crack 500K, was actually down a bit from the January PPV
Dark Matches:
Rhino over Shawn McNeil (Percy Watson) (B+) YAMATO, KENTA & Alex Shelly over Jay Lethal & London/Kendrick (B+)
PPV Matches:
US Title Match: Samoa Joe (c) over Mr. Anderson by submission: Anderson was built up to be fed to Joe, Joe moves on into a program with Jeff Hardy that could go either way, the match will decide both of their paths going into my huge anniversary PPV in May. (B+)
Womens Title Match: (Cheerleader) Melissa (c) over Hamada, Kong and Trish Stratus. I think Hamada took the fall, tells you how much I care about this division, but Melissa is PPV worthy. (B+)
Abyss over Kaz: Abyss did a month guest spot on my Cruiserweight show, terrorizing the cruisers so he had something to do. (B+)
Beer Money Inc over Dudleys: Just a continuing tag feud that BMI will win to set them up to take the belts. Dudleys turned heel right afterwards and their overness/momentum went through the roof, but they've been on top so long I don't want them there. (B+)
Midcard Title Match: Bryan Danielson (c) over Wade Barrett: Danielson got the win here, feud continues, they will face off at the next PPV and it'll be interesting to see how newly signed William Regal will effect this feud. (A)
Jeff Hardy def Christopher Daniels: Just something for them to do and a build-up for Hardy. Daniels graduated from being a star of the Cruiser division to being a midcarder on the A/B shows. Danielson is probably in his future. (A)
Tag Title Match: Chavito (Chavo and Carlito) over Kings of Wrestling (c): Chris Hero is getting a big push, so he pulled the dick move and walked out on Claudio. Basically he turned heel on heels. He's slated to be in the US Title match at the Anniversary PPV, so the buildup will continue. Chavito is transitional and if Chavo keeps getting in fights, their transition might be damn short. (A)
Super Cruiser Title Ladder Match: Alberto Del Rio (c) over Sonjay Dutt: Blowoff of their feud and the continuing of the Del Rio build-up, as he dominates the cruiser show. One of my pet projects since I built him up from a scrubby Dos Caras Jr in the game. (A)
BURIED ALIVE MATCH: Rob Van Dam over Lucifer (Kevin Thorn): Another blowoff of a crazy feud between these two. Lucifer has gone from scrub to legit main event, although obvious an Occult character named Lucifer only has so much manuverability. Lucifer needed to do the job here so he could go off TV as his contract is up. Since WWE and TNA are in ruin, I don't see why he won't be coming back. (A+)
In a weird visual and a WCW type booking moment, Lucifer was taken out on a stretcher rolled by Abyss and JBL. On my A show the next week, Abyss was beating on cruisers again and who stopped him? Bradshaw back doing his APA type gimmick. LOL. Guess he had a quick change of heart.
MAIN EVENT:
UNIVERSAL TITLE MATCH: Jack Swagger over Kurt Angle (c): Swagger's strange and quick rise to the top of the wrestling business continued when he finally defeated Kurt Angle, with the help of new manager Eric Bischoff, who distracted Angle leading to the fall. On the A show the week after, Swagger and other members of the Bischoff Consortium (sans Chris Hero who obviously has better things to do), badly injured Kurt Angle, setting in motion a very successful face turn for Angle (yes, this was a heel vs heel feud, "cutting edge" feds FTW!), and possibly putting his career in doubt. RVD has stepped up to be the new #1 contender for the next PPV, which should be coming up pretty soon, in real time. (A)
Overall the show was a little disappointing from the creative and business perspective, the March PPV is shaping up to be weak card-wise, but it's sort of just a bridge to the next two months, where the big builds will be going on. So I guess I'll see how strong my business is then. For an F economy / F industry environment, I can't complain.

How long can/should a feud go on for after it's suggested to be over? I could finish my Punk/Jericho feud now but how I have it booked, I want it go another two months.

I'm playing my 2003 TEW 2010 game and I'm currently trying to figure out a way to book a survivor series match between "Team Hitman" Bret Hart and others Vs. "Team Heartbreak" Shawn Michaels and a few others. I don't really want to turn either heel but I'm worried about ruining the match with two teams of faces fighting.

As long as you can find new things to do generally, of course I'm playing for my entertainment and not so much for the score. Roddy Piper just announced his retirement and I think I'm gonna insert him in the feud with some Piper's Pits and maybe as a Guest Referee in their PPV match. Then Jericho's contract expires in June (only signed him to 6 months) and I think I'm going to do either an Iron Man match or an I Quit/Loser Leaves WWE match to end the feud. I just worry that I'll end up ruining things by running the feud too long as their segments regularly get over 90%.

Alright, just booked my Over The Limit PPV. Oddly enough, it was kinda half-assed but ended up getting better ratings than Extreme Rules, which I actually planned out pretty well.
Dark Match - Alberto Del Rio and High Society (Cody Rhodes, Antonio Cesaro and Wade Barrett) d The Big Show/Zack Ryder/Xavier Woods/Derrick Bateman WWE Tag Team Title Match - Kofi Kingston/Dolph Ziggler d Evan Bourne/Justin Gabriel and The Power of Funk (Mason Ryan and Brodus Clay) to retain John Cena/Sheamus d Mark Henry/Kevin Nash World Title Match - Daniel Bryan d Rey Mysterio to retain #1 Contender's Match - Randy Orton d Christian and R-Truth The Miz d Triple H WWE Title Match with Roddy Piper as Special Guest Referee - Chris Jericho d CM Punk to retain

If TEW 10 is anything like TEW 05, go Cutting Edge. You'll have to have less "entertainment" than wrestling (I do 80-20 in favor of wrestling and there's no complaints), but it will allow you to do things like that with a very minimal penalty.

Here's a TEW 05 question. If you initiate a WAR relationship, what happens? Anything worthwhile?

Alright, end of the month time as I started June and there's some big news in my game.
On the WWE side of things, I released Dante Dash as his selling is terrible. Also, I let contracts run out for Derek Foore and Abraham Washington, who were both in FCW. I signed Sami Callihan and had him debut on Smackdown and once June hit, Dean Ambrose wanted to be called up so he's now on Smackdown too. Oh, and Roddy Piper retired. I had inserted him into my Punk/Jericho feud and when he retired, he became a road agent so I snapped him up. Between Piper and Flair and everyone else that already works backstage for the WWE, I have the sweetest team of road agents ever.
TNA now has a new show on Wednesdays. However, it's during the Graveyard timeslot on ESPN. Also, Eric Bischoff announced he'll be retiring at the end of June.
WSU, NWA Force-1 and SAW have all folded. Particularly sad for WSU after Shimmer also went bankrupt.
But the big news is a new promotion has been created. XXX Wrestling, oddly enough with only a 57% risk level. They're at 46% National, edging out ROH as the 4th ranked promotion (behind WWE, TNA and WDW). Here's their roster after a few days of signings. So far there's no owner.
* = Written Contract Aero Star * Aja Kong Armando Alejandro Estrada Chris Harris * Chris Masters * Chuck Palumbo * Cibernetico * CIMA Giant Bernard * (No Lord Tensai for me) Icarus * Jay Briscoe * (Oddly enough, WDW signed Mark but not Jay. Another great tag team broken up.) Jesse James * (Who I let go a few months back after never using him.) Jun Akiyama Junior Fatu Keiji Mutoh Kensuke Sasaki L.A. Par-K * Marco Corleone * Maria Kanellis * Matt Hyson Michelle McCool Mike Knox Naruki Doi Orlando Jordan Paul Burchill * Perro Aguayo Jr. * Sabu * Sean Waltman (Who I signed as my "surprise" entrant in the Royal Rumble and let go because I never used him again) Shad Gaspard * Sonny Siaki * TAKA Michinoku Trevor Murdock * Ultramantis Black *
So far, your typical mish-mash of WWE castoffs, Japanese and Mexican stars plus a few random CHIKARA mainstays to boot. Also, Soldier Ant took a Written contract to ROH as well.

Money in the Bank 2013
R-Truth vs Bryan Danielson vs Husky Harris vs Chris Hero vs Goldust vs Kofi Kingston

Last Man Standing Match

Currently running a 2003 ROH scenario in EWR and got them up to National, with a decent prime time show on ESPN2. Had tried to have Jeff Hardy vs. Samoa Joe as my main feud, but Hardy got a month suspension for backstage issues and Joe got hurt and won't be back til next year ![:P](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/tongue.png) So Christopher Daniels vs. Gus Richlen (it's a habit that I always have me in the game as a wrestler) became the big one, and I actually got a five star match out of the I Quit match to end the feud with me winning. Now I'm facing ROH World Champion Trent Acid, while Daniels is moving on to Bryan Danielson. That one has 99 heat, and I have done nothing with it yet. I also signed Shannon Ward (Daffney), Lita, Gail Kim, Spanky, and Vampiro. Close to half the roster that isn't doing Japanese tours is on a written deal, and I'm slowly going to start changing the large events into PPVs.
