Funniest thing I've seen lately: Played as 2003 SWC (Stampede Wrestling Of Calgary). (Day 1 goes by, not much.) -Get sponsors, set levels, etc. (Day 2) E-Mail: WWE has fired Teddy Long! (Day 3) -SWC has hired Teddy Long to an open contract. (I sign him to a written deal to be the company's GM.) (Day 4, Merchandise Sales) 1) Teddy Long: 32% ![???](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/huh.png) 2) Harry Smith: 7% 3t) TJ Wilson: 3% 3t) Teddy Hart: 3% (Day 4, Writers Meeting) -"The #1 Babyface in our company is Teddy Long." -"Teddy Long is our top draw. He should be featured on our shows." (Please note, I have not had show-one yet.) (First weekly show, Teddy only introduces himself as the Commissioner.) Road Agent E-Mail: "Teddy Long is being featured too much and the fans are starting to resent him." Belie'e dat, playa. ![:D](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/grin.png)

After getting NXT back on the air, it's really helped me get some more guys over, especially Jinder Mahal, Dante Dash (not sure how) and Derrick Bateman, who I'm hesitant to move up the ladder just because of his unsackable status, and how Sheamus (also unsackable) is hardly over at all now because of his refusal to move down the card.

I put him in a tag team with DT Porter and Dante always brings the ratings down with his selling (or lack thereof). I see potential in Porter, not so much in Dash. I'm probably going to let his contract run out but I think I have a good 6-8 months before that happens.

Alright, so here's my finished Extreme Rules PPV:
-Alberto Del Rio d William Regal in a dark match. I've been starting to use Regal at bit more in the ring lately (in addition to him doing commentary on NXT) and Del Rio wasn't on the card. I've been getting great matches out of Del Rio so there you go.
-Kofi Kingston and Dolph Ziggler d Evan Bourne and Justin Gabriel in a Ladder Match to retain the WWE Tag titles.
-Zack Ryder d Kane in a Tables Match.
-Kharma d Beth Phoenix in a Cage Match to win the Divas title. Kharma's been on Beth's heels for months and also got the help of Layla but Beth would always weasel her way out to keep the title. Natalya turned face as she got sick of Beth being the boss. AJ has shown interest in helping Beth out but Beth always laughs her off for being too small. For now, she has a new lackey in the recently debuted Sofia Cortez from FCW.
-Christian d Sheamus in a Ladder Match to keep the Money In The Bank briefcase. Afterwards, I drafted Sheamus to Raw to change the roster up a bit.
-John Cena d Mark Henry in a Last Man Standing Match. Mark was fired from Smackdown after putting Teddy Long in the hospital, defying his suspension and attacking interim GM Mick Foley. He was immediately snapped up and signed to Raw by John Laurinaitis and The Miz in their quest to oust Triple H out of power. After the match, Miz attacked Cena but Triple H laid him out with a Pedigree.
-Chris Jericho won the WWE title in a 4 Corners match against CM Punk, Daniel Bryan and Randy Orton with both the WWE and World titles on the line. If a champion was pinned, he loses his title, and Jericho cheated to pin Punk.
Not much happened at the beginning of May. Sting retired and says he'll someday run his own promotion soon, dashing my hopes of signing him as a Staff member like I did with Ric Flair last month. Roddy Piper announced his retirement and I want to sign him and send him off, but don't know how. Goldust, who I've been using as the "old hand" on NXT, has decided to become a Non-Wrestler. I signed Sami Callihan originally to a Development deal but he was too good so he'll be debuting soon. 4 more promotions have gone bankrupt. Oh, and I made $10 million in profit too. ;D

So, a new incident just popped up while I was playing, and I have no idea what it does. Apparently, The Miz has found religion and is a changed man. It didn't do anything to his stats (as far as I know), and I haven't seen yet if it does anything to his character. Anybody know what finding religion does to a wrestler in EWR?

I don't know specifics and I'd probably look them up if I didn't have to run off to work right now. But from what I gather, it either increases their morale or increases their behavior, which is an unseen stat that determines if or how often they'll get into trouble. Or it might do both. Either way, it's a pretty good thing. Though I think it might prevent them from doing matches they consider "too risky" as well.

Yeah, I would think it would mean he would refuse to do certain angles, matches or gimmicks. I don't think you'd be able to get Miz to do a gay gimmick or something that doesn't jibe with his beliefs.

I'm not sure about the risky stuff, since I typically don't use them anyway, but yeah, they're less likely to need rehab, annoy the rest of the locker room, insult the company in interviews, or no show photo shoots.

Chances are unless you're playing a super-risky indy like CZW or something, it shouldn't be much of an issue.

signed Raven in mine, got a message from CM Punk saying "hey boss, great job on signing Raven! cant wait to work with him!" and the same message from John Cena and Randy Orton.
however, Vince e-mailed me and said "Why would you hire raven??? I dont know about that one!" and Triple H said "I dont wanna work with Raven, he dosent belong here!"
fast forward 2 months.....Raven marries a previously unknown daughter of Vince McMahon and thus cannot be fired.

and how do i make someone someone elses manager Highlight the name of the worker that you want to make a manager. At the bottom of the screen, there should be a button that says "Manager." Press it and confirm it. Then, go to the worker that you want to have a manager. Under his stats, there should be a pull down list that has "Manager" as the title. Choose the manager that you want to manage the worker and there you go.

Long time lurker with two questions about EWR...
1) Is it possible to turn someone into a tweener? 2) I managed to get Sting to sign for WWE for that dream Undertaker match (greedy git wanted 300,000 and creative control), I'm told that he'll be joining in -3 months time? What does this mean?

After that time passes, Sting is yours.

Long time lurker with two questions about EWR... 1) Is it possible to turn someone into a tweener? Tweener turns are done when you fail to turn someone, such as by turning someone in an Interview segement. So, technically yes, but you don't want to, it indicates a failed face-heel or heel-face turn, and tweeners lose heat because the crowd is divided on what the reaction is.
