I haven't heard anything about him in a while, and I'm starting to miss the guy. He's always been good, but I thought his last run in the E was one of the best of his career and overall he was really better than ever. There was so much classic Jericho in 2010.
Anybody seen or heard any news? I'm assuming he'll be back at some point but I have no idea when. I'm gonna mark like a 12 year old girl at a Justin Beiber concert if he's a surprise entrant in the Royal Rumble.

Someone posted a Youtube video of him about a week ago, sounds like he's not sure if he wants to return or not. He's really enjoying his music career.

I'm sorry to hear that. I'm glad he's having fun, but if I'm gonna be honest here I'd have to say that I don't care a whole lot for his music. As a wrestler though, I think it's true what he said throughout last year: "I am the best in the world at what I do!"

He wrestles Bryan at WM or we riot! At the rate Daniel Bryan has been progressing, he'll be in a dark match tag team match with Mark Henry versus Ted Dibiase and Zack Ryder.

I'll say this, the rock star path is more suited to a 45 year old body than the wrestling scene. If he was interested in wrestling 2011 would probably be his prime year.

I'd like it if he'd come back but I'm not holding a grudge against him for wanting to do something else he loves while he's still healthy.
EDIT: Holy crap Jericho's 45?

^ He's 40. I think he meant Jericho should be a wrestler while he can.

I think Jericho will always split his time between wrestling and music, and I think he has enough WWE goodwill that he can do that. Come back for two years, go on the road for two years. His book contains as much music in it as it does wrestling, after all.

I would like a final run for him, with a great send off like Flair and HBK did.
Maybe even win the IC title in his final match and retire with it since he holds the record reigns with it. (I would like if he did it with a World title, just don't see WWE letting that happen)

Hey,
Heres an interview I shot with Chris last month... he didn't really want to talk about wrestling but he wound up talking to the interviewer for 40 minutes about music, metal, Fozzy, etc.. I edited it down to 25 minute interview...
Its in part 2 he mentions he is unsure if he wants to return to wrestling... He seems really dedicated to Fozzy and music right now... and he was having a great time.

(I would like if he did it with a World title, just don't see WWE letting that happen) Well here's the thing, if you watch the recent Jericho DVD, at the end he says that when his career does end, he'd rather be carried out than have some big send off. He was refering to the segment where Bischoff fired him and he was carried out kicking and screaming but he could have easily been taking about getting carried out after being kicked in the head by Randy Orton. As my favourite wrestler of all time I'm always happy to see him but quite honestly he doesn't need to come back. There's nothing left for him to do in the WWE. It all depends on if he gets that "itch" again like he did 3 years ago.

His return would have been pretty pointless if the person he was trying to 'save' us from was the one who put him into retirement.

How do you know for sure? I doubt even Jericho knows for sure. The way he talks about it, it seems like he was done five and a half years ago until he got that "itch" to compete again.

I love that Jericho's humble, but geez man. Don't have to be THAT humble...he's done enough to deserve a real sendoff.
