World's Strongest Man. 60 percent of the time...it works every time. Also, and this is probably me, but I don't see how Bateman looks like Andy Samberg. Yeah, the guy has Samberg's comedy 'fro, but he's always looked more like Trent Reznor to me.

I always thought he had a bit of a resemblance to Ogre.

It was absolutely awesome. See WWE, you can do comedy right sometimes!

I enjoyed it, I like cheesy comedy most of the time and WWE got that right for once.

I was confused and didn't find it funny at all. yeah i wasn't so much confused as i seen what they were trying to do, but it was seriously not funny. i hate hate hate whomever writes the "comedy" bits for the WWE.

i hate hate hate whomever writes the "comedy" bits for the WWE. Same Vince seems to hire the very bottom of the barrel when it comes to comedy writers. That segment was just awful, I just watched it again and it seemed even worse. The WWE writers seem to do well when it comes to writing quite serious promos and stuff. There's been some killer promos recently, like Barrett's Hail Caesar promo When it comes to comedy however, 9 times out of 10 it sucks. The writers don't seem to have a clue what PG comedy is and what they can actually do. Plenty of tv shows have been rated PG and had some pretty funny humour (Blackadder springs to mind, that's rated PG and is hilarious, same as shows like Fresh Prince and The Simpsons) WWE writers though seem to think PG comedy is crappy skits like you used to see on 'You can't do that on television' and 'The Amanda Show'

Last time they had that stupid "THIS CHALLENGE IS WORTH FOUR POINTS!" thing the week of elimination that made the previous challenges mostly pointless. "Welcome to NXT, the show where everything is made up and the points don't matter. That's right, the points are like the WWE Tag Team Championships." This was executed excellently.

You can put down WWE's writers, but you don't rip on "You Can't Do That on Television". I'm not even from Canada, and I know how awesome that show was. I'm sure most people wouldn't even know what you were talking about if you brought it up! Although asking someone would be funny, too. "When you think of 'You Can't Do That on Television', what do you think?" "I don't know..." (MONSTER SPECTACULAR BUCKET OF SLIME)

I...actually laughed at that.
I think it was Bateman who did it. Dude seems to be able to make anything good.

Maybe the other rookies will have them too The thing that struck me is that it made no mention at all of his NXT involvement Cole did after it, though he stumbled over his line.

Bateman is the only one guaranteed to stay based off immunity points. Last time they had that stupid "THIS CHALLENGE IS WORTH FOUR POINTS!" thing the week of elimination that made the previous challenges mostly pointless. it was the mostly part. They wanted to create some drama, so a guy with 1 point could tie a guy with four points. If they don't put up a number like that then the challenge they were doing right then would have been completely meaningless.

The last things I remember WWE doing skits that were actually funny (aside from small moments on NXT and whatnot) was the Santino/Shaemus tea party and the one DX commercial where HHH knocks over HBK's action figure display.
