Other then the two sections of beautiful counters was I the only one who thought that it felt off? Maybe it was because it was rushed, maybe because Jo Mo hurt his knee on the missed Starship pain, or maybe its just me.

Well we can't have them perform too well and show up John Cena in the main event.

Too short. Maybe it's just me but it really felt uneven. Not sure how to explain it.
The fact that the US Champion is losing clean in a 5 minute match is kinda dumb.

I'd like to see them get a good 15 minute US Title match. Actually, Bryan needs to be defending that title a lot more than he has been. His reign started off very strong, but lately they've been having him wrestle in short tag matches and he didn't even get a match at TLC. They should play up the fact that he's a fighting champion and have him defend the belt on Raw damn near every week. Bryan's strongest attribute is his ring work and it's his only chance of getting over. Give him a good 10-15 minutes every week with different midcarders and they might just get him AND somebody else over in the process.

Every Daniel Bryan match that isn't all that great is always given the excuse of "It was too short."

Every Daniel Bryan match that isn't all that great is always given the excuse of "It was too short." That's because it's the truth. Even his short matches are very good for the amount of time that they're given. You can't expect a classic in that amount of time. Now watch somebody bring up 123 Kid vs. Bret Hart...

it was because they threw in all the hallmarks of a long, grueling match - missed finisher, trading strikes, near submission attempt, double cross body - without the match being long or grueling. They were selling a 5 minute match like a 30 minute one, but it was like they just subtracted huge chunks of what would have made up the theoretical longer match. I'm not sure if that makes any sense, but that's what I was thinking watching it.

I just didn't see the point in the matchup. both needed different opponents. they have good chemistry, often but right now neither needed that match. Morrison needed to go over another strong heel Bryan needed to continue his "working on personality with the twins" storyline
and on a sidenote, Ziggler shouldn't have been fed to Orton right before a ppv

And the point of the match was to lead up to a Sheamus, Bryan, Morrison confrontation at the Rumble match. Any other build-ups can wait till after the PPV.

Danielson should've been brought back as a heel and allied himself with Nexus honestly. He should've been brought in as a ruthless wrestling/submission specialist.
Here's hoping he snaps during this awful angle he's involved in with the Bella Twins and gives them both the Cattle Mutilation.

The thing is you need to think like a casual fan when you bring in new people. To you Bryan would look like a ruthless submission specialist, because you know of his previous work in the indys. But to a casual fan, he would have looked like some random average joe next to the bodybuilding types that were in the original Nexus since you would know nothing of what he's done before and could only go on looks. The only way a guy like him could look credible is by going solo, win constantly, and going after one of the midcard belts, which is working for him now.

Give him a good 10-15 minutes every week with different midcarders and they might just get him AND somebody else over in the process. Which is what he basically did with Dolph Ziggler. Ziggles owes a lot of his main event push right now to his match with Bryan (and matches with Cena). Whether he can hang around the ME is up to him though.

Was a good match. Could use some more time, but it was good that they got a chance to put on a show nonetheless. Loved the back and forth and reversals, they work well together.
That said, the ending... Morrison needs to get rid of that boring knee, or add some theatrics, or something even vaguely interesting. If his opponents can kick out of most of his offence involving big kicks, it just doesn't work. And heck, he's got so many awesome finishes. The C4/Moonlight Drive/Starship Pain... The 'knee to the face' is such an anticlimax.

Really needed a few more minutes. JoMo's become a really good worker, and we all know how good Danielson is.

Seemed a bit awkward to have title holding Bryan just lose cleanly for the hell of it in a relatively short match...then Sheamus comes out anyway.

The match was also too short to have such a clean decisive ending. naw there was a few times where they hesitated on what to do next. when that stuff happens (cause it's rare for the fella's) it always reminds me of Divas matches.

I liked it. My only real problem was how short it was. The bits where they hesitated actually added to the 'They're evenly matched' atmosphere.
EDIT: I also liked the bit of sportsmanship at the end, which was a nice change of pace from the usual 'pose over your vanquished foe' end-match routine.
