Kane holds the record of most eliminations in a single Royal Rumble with 11. I'm guessing that since there are 40 men in it this year, it's the perfect time for someone to step up and break that record.
I'd personally love to see one of the young guys like Sheamus or Swagger get twelve or thirteen eliminations. I figure that would let them get a huge boost out of the match without actually winning it.
It would also be awesome to see Punk clean house. I can see him having Nexus do the damage while he systematically does the tossing. They could also have Kane break his own record to kinda solidify his Rumble dominance.
Do you think this will be the year for that record to be broken? If so, by whom?

Kane should break his own record.

They need to really bulid Sheamus back up if he's going to feud with Trips, so have Sheamus do it, have him wait about 30 second by himself and then .............Triple H comes out they have a mini match, a couple others come out with both Triple H & Sheamus throwing them out and go back to fighting.

If anyone should break the record, it's Kane himself. He's the only man other than maybe the Big Show booked to dominate rumble matches.

Nobody. They shouldnt be breaking Rumble records from established veterans as a way of building up "the new guy". Sheamus hasnt even been there for 3 years. Have Punk get close, but not actually break the record.

I can see them building up Punk's new muscle as a dominating force and coming close to Kane's record, I don't think that he or anyone else gets it though.

I'd like to see Kane, Big Show, Taker, Nash, and Khali all in the ring at the same time. All have at one time or another been totally dominant in a rumble.

Kane
He's only a few eliminations away from holding the most eliminations total.

They wouldn't have had him be made to look like a fool against Henry if they had plans of him dominating the Rumble. That's just counter productive and stupid. But then again, so is most of the WWE's angles and writing.

Hopefully no one. 2001 rumble was cool because Kane did it over a long period. He didn't just enter the ring and eliminate 7 people in 15 seconds like they'd do it now. That's boring as hell and half ruins the rumble to begin with.
