So I was at work today on lunch break and sportscenter was on and they were talking about Carmelo Anthony and I caught the end of the story and the very last line of the story the anchor goes in a serious voice as of now Carmelo Anthony is a nugget!!!!!!! ;D
Any of you ever have any moments like this? If so what made you think wrestling?

I did a pretty good job of spreading the use of the term "jobber" as an insult for a while, there. Trust me, people love it.

It's not wrestling, but it is this forum.
Back when I was a lurker, the word 'f***' used to get censored to 'smurf' on this forum.
The office I worked in gives its recycled paper to a firm called Smurfit, and so all the recycling bins had 'Smurfit' written on it.
It amused me to think that literally all of our bins had f-word-fuelled rants about something but got censored.
Yes, I'm a massive loser.

Oh man... I use no-sell, mark, angle and swerve all because of this forum.
And I also call my cats "FAT ASSES" when I feed them, because they just can't wait for me to pour their food in their bowl before they stick their heads into it. I gotta chase them away before i can put the food in!

Mark, no-sell and gimmick sometimes, if there's a use for it

Eh, I usually stop myself, but it slips unnoticed sometimes.

Me and my friend call everyone "Piggie James", "Smelly Kelly", "Glamaman", and "Skirt Tiffany" all the time and nobody ever gets it.
I also use jabroni on a weely basis.

I use no-sell and mark/mark-out in regular conversation. People usually ask wtf a mark is but generally use their context clues to figure out no-sell.

I usually use stuff like "nerd", "internet geek", "incredibly", "sad", and "wrestling and The Simpsons are not the all-consuming powers of the universe".

Yeah, I also use "no-sold" a lot. And I use angle and gimmick, but I think it's easy to understand those.

Every time this topic is brought up, I feel the need to reiterate that most of these terms are not wrestling-exclusive. Mark is an old carny term. Selling is something actors do. Gimmick (and angle, to a lesser extent) are pretty universal terms.
However, "jobber" and its forms are pretty wrestling-centric, and I tend to use that whenever I can slip it in. I use no-sell all the time (which I suppose is pretty exclusive to wrestling even if the root "sell" isn't), but mostly with my wrestling-fan friends who will get it.
And I, too, like to use "Smurf" to censor myself whenever the situation arises. I usually get a good chuckle out of singing "La la la la, she smurfin' hates me!"

Like some of you, I too use "jobber" (as an insult), "mark" (for someone who believes their own crap) and "no-sold" (for when an expected result is not forthcoming) on a semi-regular basis in daily life.
