not that I want this to immediately happen. I'd like to have Wade keep rising as a singles star separate from any partner or group (for a while) on Smackdown

they've teamed up in just about every promotion they've competed in. IWW (Foreign Legion), OVW (Britpack) and FCW (The Empire). They'll doubtless end up teaming together in WWE at some stage too. I mean it's not ecactly difficult to come up with a Kayfabe background for them (and Sheamus) knowing each other.
