Didn't see anything posted about it.
I'm not posting a link since it's not from WWE Fan Nation's YouTube channel, and I assume it would fall under the "WWE material" banner. But if you type "The Chaperone" into YouTube, it'll come right up.
In short, I can't really speak on the quality of the movie (although HHH certainly looks to turn in one of the better performances in a WWE movie), but this trailer is SO abysmally-made. From the voiceover lines, to the clips they use, to the music. It just comes across as so unbelievably second-rate that it's almost impossible to take with a grain of anything.
The movie may be a fun little romp; hell, it may be a masterpiece by WWE Studios standards. But after watching that trailer, I have absolutely no idea who would want to see that movie.

Doesn't look like a movie I will ever watch, but I agree the trailer was pretty badly done and doesn't really give you a clear idea of what to expect.

If you watch the trailer at 0:04 it sounds like Triple H's character name is Rape Radstone.
That's awesome.

It's Alex from Modern Family!

It seems like the kind of movie I would have loved as a kid. A cheesy B-list family comedy where a badass person has to get saved by the kids in the end. I wouldn't watch it now, but I can see the kiddies lapping it up. Also, good to see Alex from Modern Family actually starting to get leading movie roles (even though this probably wasn't the best choice...)

Yeah, it seems to be in the same tone and of the same quality, of all those Ernest movies that used to be around in the 90's.
So yeah, I'd have loved it as a kid, but not now. Still, it at least looks like it'd be fun to watch, which puts it above Knucklehead and Legendary.

Do you know who is directing it: Stephen Herek! Wait who? I here you say. Well here is some other films he has directed: Critters Bill & Ted's Excellent Adventure Don't Tell Mom the Babysitter's Dead Champions (AKA the first Mighty Ducks film) The Three Musketeers (1993 film with Charlie Sheen, Kiefer Sutherland and Chris O'Donnell) Mr. Holland's Opus 101 Dalmatians (the live action one) And now the down hill decent really begins Holy Man (the Eddie Murphy one) Rock Star Man of the House And then there is some straight to video stuff including the sequel to 'Into The Blue' (bet you did not know that existed ). The Chaprone will be his first cinematic release in 6 years. Wow, talk about a decline. Yeah sucker gotta get paid... But from Mr Holland's Opus to this!

I thought all WWE films are straight to DVD's now. Well except maybe a limited release in like 10 theaters and then comes out to DVD four days later.

Alls I know, is that when it does come out, be prepared to be bombarded with ads for the movie all over Raw, SmackDown, NXT, etc.

The crappy quality of it is why WWE has not officially released it yet.

So, since it's being released in March, does this mean they will show the trailer a dozen times at WM?
