*Austin vs. Triple H @ Summerslam 2001, which would have been separate and independent from the Invasion arc. Had he not get injured, Trips would have turned face and feuded with a heel Austin for the WWF Title throughout the summer. OTOH, where would it leave Kurt Angle?
*Michaels vs. Bret Hart @ WM13, before HBK "lost his smile"

The rumoured NWO/DX feud from 2006. Probably best it didn't happen, but I still would have liked to see it. I think that was just a hoax.

Could have been, but it makes sense if it would have happened. Would have been interesting to see the Cliq on opposite sides of the ring, representing the two biggest factions in recent (at the time) history.

Randy Orton vs Ted Dibiase : WrestleMania 26 (notice how they are both in purple attire) Though since they seemed to have to include Cody it kinda stopped the singles match. But I wouldn't be surprised that in 3-5 years from now there will be a Rhodes vs Orton and Dibiase vs Orton main event in the future ;D

I'd been clamoring for a clique reunion for so long. Especially when HHH had come back, HBK, Nash, and Waltman were nWo. But in 06, Nash was in TNA, Waltman was in Mexico, Hogan was in his own head, and Hall was missing in action.

SnitskenReich vs. Undertaker & Kane seemed to be a foregone conclusion after the 2005 Royal Rumble and then it was forgotten about.

In early 2003, there were rumors that WWE was trying to negotiate a wrestler vs boxer event with Brock Lesnar facing Lennox Lewis as the main event with Kurt Angle against Michael Moorer as an undercard bout. It was even reported on in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter.

Hade Vansen coming in to feud with The Undertaker. One (two?) video promos, then nothing.

Umaga vs Jackass: rumored for Summerslam 2007.
Unfortunately, certain circumstances brought an end to any chance of that. I guess the Jackass guys were a bit weary to get involved at that point.

HBK vs. Hogan 2. Wasn't that the orginal reason that HBk jobbed?
Goldberg vs. Austin: More then once. Goldberg in 98 put that money challenge out during an interview on Leno. Came up again when Goldberg signed with the WWE.
Flair vs. Steamboat at WM 24. It was talked about that being Flair's last match instead of HBK.

SnitskenReich vs. Undertaker & Kane seemed to be a foregone conclusion after the 2005 Royal Rumble and then it was forgotten about. More like the Undertake I think complained about it and felt it would be a disaster of a match. He requested it be with Orton for 21 didn't he?

I remember there was speculation last year over Beth Phoenix vs. Chyna at Wrestlemania.
