I remember reading that Angle/Taker was originally scheduled to take place at WM 22 and not No Way Out. However, due to Batista's injury, things were changed. As great as the NWO match was, I think WM would've been a better showcase for the match. It would've been more memorable than Undertaker's casket match with Mark Henry.
Anyone else have any other good ones to bring up???

Angle/Taker was also rumoured for WM21 as well at one stage. 'Til Randy Orton needed rebuilding and Shawn Michaels had nothing left to do. Fortunate, really.

I mean they could of done HBK vs Orton, with Orton turning on HBK instead and Taker/Angle with both storylines without interfering in the brand split

King Booker and HBK were at one point scheduled to be the representatives of McMahon and Trump in the Battle of the Billionaires Match at WM23, but HHH got hurt. Hence HBK was slotted to face Cena, Booker placed in the MITB, and Umaga/Lashley were made the reps.

I remember the rumors and ground being set for Orton vs. Rock in 2004, seemingly at SummerSlam.

I know why it didn't happen, but wasn't Shawn Michaels / Eddie Guerrero rumored for WM22?

I know why it didn't happen, but wasn't Shawn Michaels / Eddie Guerrero rumored for WM22? Popular opinion says yes, but we'll never know for sure. Is it me, or am I the only one who enjoyed the casket match from WM 22?

The rumoured NWO/DX feud from 2006. Probably best it didn't happen, but I still would have liked to see it.

Stone Cold vs. Eddie Guerrero, Raw 2002. They did the angle where Eddie attacked Austin at a bar, then Austin ended up walking out of the entire company soon after. Eddie was IC champ at the time and I remember reading that Austin HATED working with the NWO and wanted to work with someone that could he could have a great match with, instead of Flair and Big Show.

The fact that Hogan/Hart never happened on TV (except for the one time in WCW with the f#%* finnish) always annoyed me. Especially way back in 1993 when WWF Magazine seemed to be all but promoting a Hogan Vs. Hart Summerslam '93 Main Event. Then when Bret was in WCW it always seemed that everytime he was getting a push (as either a heel or a babyface) Hogan was just gone from TV altogether. Not injured. Just not there.
