First time I ever saw him in FCW I didn't think he was all that great and believe me he wasn't.
In NXT though he is growing on me. He may not be the fastest big man or a great wrestler or even very charismatic but he has a good look and is scary as hell.
King Kong Bundy was never all that great either but I thought he was pretty cool and Brodus reminds me a lot of Bundy for some reason.

Reports of his awfulness were greatly exaggerated.

I'll admit the guy is kind of growing on me. He does at least have a consistent character. That's definitely a positive in my book.
Don't get me wrong though, I'm still not a fan of the guy in ring wise.

He's not the greatest guy in the ring, but I dig his look and he has some decent promo skills.

He may not be that good at all in the ring, and he may look so bad it's just kind of silly, and his promos may be god awful tough guy rambling and growling, but at least...wait what are we talking about?

If you don't enjoy Brodus Clay, there are two things you can do.
Nothing, and like it!
Brodus Clay frightens me.

I like how Brodus Clay somehow took a tired phrase like "There's two things you can do about it; nothing and like it," and made a new generation of people think its clever. I rolled my eyes when he said it then saw a bunch of people talking about what a great line it was. Made me re-think it a bit.

Other than Saxton he's my favourite guy in this series, I see a big future for him if booked right.

It is in my opinion that Mr. Clay is far superior to your favorite individual who plys his trade in the field of performing arts and mock combat.

I really like him. He kinda reminds me of Vader with how scary he can look despite being that big-boned.

I was first on the "OMG he sucks" bandwagon, but after finally getting a look at Brodus on NXT (I always seem to miss NXT when it comes on), I've gotta say, he's rather alright.

I think he'd be a pretty good tag guy but I can't say I have much interest in watching him wrestle so far. He's surprisingly good on the mic.

There was no way he could possibly have been as bad as rumored... just wasn't possible.

With the sheer ammount of bitterness and hatered directed at him pre debut it's pretty dificult not to root for the man.

He hasn't been bad on NXT, I'll be honest. I quite enjoyed his match with Curtis this week - fun David vs Goliath type of deal.
His mic work isn't bad, although everyone else left in the show has more charisma, I think.
