I don't mind Barrett going to Smackdown. Its just that I don't wanna see him have an extended feud with Big Show.

I wasn't happy about him being moved to SmackDown, because of the whole wasted storyline with him and Punk, and I just felt like he could've done more on RAW. But then I was like, I dunno... maybe he'll pal around with Drew or something. Maybe creative will, gasp, come up with something interesting for him to do. I thought at the least he'd bicker with Edge. Something. But instead it looks like he'll be fighting... Big Show. E-freakin'-gads. I only hope he doesn't end up going the Luke Gallows route and losing to Big Show all the time. Please no. Please, please no. EDIT: As for it being an invasion/brief thing- I hope so. When he came in to the contender match I did think for a brief moment that it might be helping Drew. Hopes were quickly dashed needless to say  I can see why they'd put him on Smackdown. They're going towards Punk/Cena which could be a good feud, even if we didn't get a brilliant blow off to Barrett/Cena and he's so great that having him play second fiddle to anyone would be a waste. That said, I don't see the point in putting him with Big Show either. Big Show/Cody has been rumbling around slightly recently and Big Show/Drew could link into the Kelly Kelly thing, and if you put him with Kane, you have a big man face-off that would free up Edge for Wade (in what I'm sure would be all kinds of awesome). Even, and I really hate to say this, put him against Rey just so he can make absolutely every WWE kiddie mark cry, finishing what he started with Cena. But Wade/Show.....whu? |

Who does this benefit at all? They already have more than half a dozen heels and barely any faces on SD. At least on RAW he could be a tweener against Otunga and Punk. Plus it doesn't make any sense at all. He should be going after punk, Instead of saying "oh well, kicked me out of the group i started. I'll got to SD, That will show them". Then Cena could move on the bigger and better things at WM against Miz and Barrett could face punk in a match where if Barrtett wins Nexus is no more. |

Much as Punk/Wade would I'm sure be awesome, I can understand them not doing it and getting Wade out of the picture on Smackdown. Heel/heel isn't going to be good if they're both such utter gits nobody can root for them, partic at this time of year. I know not many will agree with this prediction but I think Wade was moved to SD so he can take the title from Edge at Elimination Chamber and face Undertaker for the title in the middle of the card aka Batista/Taker from Mania 23. I'd be delighted with Wade/Taker. Don't expect it, but would love it and would love him to get his first title. Still, if that was what they were going for, why would they have him feud with Big Show? |

They've been doing Barrett/Show on a few house shows lately since Cena's injury haven't they? I assumed that was where it came from.

I wouldn't mind seeing a Barrett/Taker feud, but not for the title at Mania. Because it would be clear on who was going to win and I think Takers Mania matches are best when it looks very possible that the streaks going to end. And also I don't think Taker is in any shape for another title reign. He'll probably take his Mania match and then go back on the shelf for a few months. |

Seriously if you thought what Cena did to Wade was bad, wait until Show gets ahold of him. Atleast you can have a good match with Cena and the crowd will care about his match.

I think it's a brilliant move. Wade was finished on RAW what more could he have done?
Turn face? Not ready and plus the guy is a natural heel
Feud with Nexus? Let's face it he would be on the losing end on that one
Team with Cena? Erm the point of the last few months was what exactly?
This is brilliant, instead of sitting around waiting to get his ass kicked by Nexus or being forced to run to Cena for help he goes the Edge route and completely swerves everyone and attacks the biggest guy on Smackdown! Plus his character stays the same which it needed to.
The only problems that could face him is how this feud is booked and his theme music. Let's face it it needs to be badass.

It's still too early to say though. Wade can come out of his feud with Show smelling like roses. Look at his attack on Show from last night. He did more on his own to Show than the other three combined. Add to that the fact that Barrett can pick show up for the Wastelends and it's clear to me that Barrett is on a kayfabe tier of power where he's a convincing opponent for Show. It's also pretty clear that WWE are pushing Barrett HARD and having him get buried by Show is not a good way to accomplish that. If they don't want Barrett to go over clean he can just get show into a position where he's obviously beaten and then walk away without pinning him to take a countout loss. Or alternatively, he could kick out of the Knockout punch before en route to the booked result. |

It's not his fault that the other guys were too pathetic to keep him down. If two kicks, some punches and an elbowdrop did as much damage to Show as three signature moves from the other guys, who knows how much damage Wade'll be able to do in a full match. |
