I think it sounds pretty cool actually. Been to a live concert showing at a movie theatre and it was awesome and actually had a great atmosphere. For something like Mania I imagine it would be the same and could do good business. Even the enhanced ticket price would be cheaper than ordering it. Though it won't be in the UK, I'd go if the option were there

I miss the days when 3D was a rare experiance. A gimmick which was so rare it blew your mind.

Now if I want to see films, my cinema doesn't even have a 2D option half the time so I have to sit through a filn with these stupid glasses over my normal glasses and not gasp when every 20 minutes, a very minor pop up effect happens.

Yes, but Sky Box Office have a 3D channel - they've used it for boxing in the past so I'd be surprised if, should the option be available, they don't show it in 3D on PPV. No need for it to be beamed into cinemas in the UK at all.

I hate 3D, for God's sake. It makes things harder to see and it's incredibly annoying, 3D is the last thing a wrestling show needs.

Local theater here runs all the PPVs, and when me and a friend tried to go see Wrestlemania last year it was sold out several hours before the show started. Don't see why throwing in a few more bucks to get 3D wouldn't sell out too.

Vue Cinemas show the big 4 if there's enough interest in the local area. I'd advise you and your fellow Wallasey Wrestling Fans (Don't use the acronym, though.) to start asking your nearest Vue to show Wrestlemania. That's how we got Wrestlemania 24 in Edinburgh, and last year's Royal Rumble in Brighton.

According to a reliable source, WWE is negotiating with Fathom Events to air this year’s WrestleMania 27 pay-per-view in 3D in movie theaters across the United States.

While the idea of WrestleMania 3D sounds pretty amazing, fans should not get their hopes up just yet - as the two parties reportedly are unable to come to terms on [surprise] money.

WWE currently receives approximately 42% of PPV revenue from cable providers and almost 50% of PPV revenue from satellite companies. WWE is looking for 60-70% of revenues from a 3D theater presentation of WrestleMania, but Fathom isn’t willing to give that much away.

The negotiations have reportedly stalled and with WrestleMania coming up in just 3 months, the window opportunity for both sides to reach an agreement is closing.

I think it would be pretty cool to see. I wonder howw much tickets would cost.
