Has anyone else noticed recently Morrison has been winning his ppv matches, but then jobbing on raw. It just seems odd to me

It's not odd it's just WWE way of joking or bad creative decision you be the judge.

I would just assume the face, who is seemingly being pushed, would be the one winning the matches in front of the wider audience, making him look more credible.

I find it odd that he had the #1 contender match on PPV, but the actual title match on RAW. Utterly nonsensical.

The Miz needed a credible win because fighting Jerry Lawler doesn't scream championship material. Morrison needed a standout performance on Raw to look like a contender and future champion. How many times Jeff Hardy lost world title matches before finally winning it? Plenty.

That's more or less how faces are booked...Daniel Bryan had the same booking between Summerslam and HiaC, before he became the midcard superman.

Even Jannetty got to beat Shawn, though.

Even Jannetty got to beat Shawn, though. Morrison did beat Miz.....though it was before they broke up. After breaking up, it is no question who became star quicker.

I think that's just a difference of booking opportunities though. After breaking up Miz went straight to talking smack to John Cena, giving him a chance to break though. What did Morrison do? Form a tag team with R-Truth?
