This is still in the "Rajah" stage right now, but here's a fan report from the Torch: Just in from Wilkes-Barre, Pa... Two PWTorch readers in attendance have sent us emails stating that John Cena appeared to get injured in his match. He fought a cage match against Wade Barrett.
PWTorch reader Dave writes: " I don't know if it was a work but it looked pretty serious to me. In the main event of Cena Barrett, Cena looked like he may have suffered a very serious injury. My wife even said to me the refs are yelling end it end it. Cena could barely stand and even addressed the crowd at the end of the show. I am paraphrasing but 'If I need to take some time off now, there is no way i'm gonna be carried out.' If it was a work, I am sorry to bother you and Cena really can act despite what his movie reviews say."
We are awaiting more details, but both of our correspondents were under the impression it was a legitimate situation that could lead to Cena missing ring time. We haven't heard from either correspondent what the move was that caused apparent the injury. pwtorch.com/artman2/publish/WWE_News_3/article_46382.shtmlWow, I hope it was just a good sell job, otherwise that would be some really sucky timing.

Looks like it may be time to play the game a bit sooner than planned...

If he's injured, they've got a good out with the beat down from Monday (and, hell, it'd help get Nexus some more heat back) and, depending on the severity, could help stretch the new storyline until Mania.

How is this bad timing? The CM Punk led Nexus starts its first week by being able to say "We took out Cena."
Don't get me wrong, I'm sorry he's injured if he is because regardless of what I think of him, no one needs to be seriously hurt.

The only problem is that Cena might be out until well past 'Mania. While I certainly do not wish that at all, I'm just saying it could happen.

Or it works perfectly, they can say Nexus finally broke John Cena... Not still not sure if this is true though.

Really hoping he's not hurt. I think he needed to have a lessened role on TV for a bit...but this is really not the way for it to happen. At all.

Not good, not good.
Please be nothing major, but still give the guy some time off from the ring. He's the workhorse of the WWE, and the only way he takes a break is if he's injured. Hell without a doubt give him some time off after Mania.

It fits with Punk/Nexus....but I'd argue they'd get more out of it if Cena stayed and they carried a program to WrestleMania.

You can still hype it with them having put Cena on the shelf, they just have to think real long term. That is even if he is injured.

So, are those guys who've been making bets about what they'll do if Cena/Miz or Cena/Punk isn't at WM27 going to go through with it, or does this count as an out?
And I think it goes without saying that if Cena really is out for a significant amount of time, it means Triple H is coming back ASAP rather than Morrison or anyone else getting elevated.

This is why the WWE is so shortsighted. They could have had his Mexican cousin Juan Cena fill in for him, but he was future endeavored after one match.

Well...let's hope Wade is not the one who hurt him....that Cena tripped or something.
I think if Cena is out long term, you can say goodbye to the brand split.
And wrestlers being injured and addressing the crowd is not unheard of but VERY unusual...I'm thinking Hayabusa when he broke his neck, he addressed the crowd telling them to stay calm because they were ready to panic. Why would Cena address the crowd? Also, did the match have its scheduled finish?

If Cena and Taker is out of WM, its gonna be weird WM. Dear God. A WrestleMania without Cena, Taker, and our first in a long time without HBK. Hell, maybe even HHH? It's a good thing the "Youth Movement" happened when it did.
