Personally, I can't see how.
He's gonna be on a lighter schedule, seeing as though he's executive senior adviser, he'll need more time to book matches and such.
He's also got a family now, so I doubt he would wanna put his body on the line for just to be champion.
If anything, he may be WWE Champion for a month or two and then possibly lose it to a younger talent. Maybe Barret, Del RIo, the MITB holder?
And I hope, I HOPE, he does not win the Royal Rumble this year.

He'll get the WWE title at least once more this year, as it looks like his in ring career is winding down.

I honestly hope not. But a big part of me believes he wants to break Flair's record.

Yeah the guy only has a small window of time to wrestle physically. He will likely return full time for this and next year in the process winning 1-2 WHC/WWE titles. Then he will likely pull a Shawn Michaels and work part time only working part of the year and doing things to get help get guys over.
After a few more years of working part time he does a retirement match and works off screen. People forget that odds are HHH likes wrestling. He is what 41 years old and has had a decent amount of wear and tear on his body so odds are that he wants to work while he is still physically able to.
The guy is going to work till he is 45 or 46 (Granted those last 3 or so years will be part time) he has the rest of his life to work backstage only so much time to wrestle.

Triple H will not retire until he beats Flair's record, I reckon.
Seriously though, he will win a world title this year, almost certainly. Even if it's not for long.

At this point, I'm not even convinced he'll ever wrestle again.

I hope so, Trips is one of the greatest heels of all time. I'd love him to have one last go around with a major title.
