Every now and then, wrestlers need to keep themselves busy between major feuds in order to remain relevant. Sometimes they'll get involved in minor spats that only last a couple weeks. Other times, they'll have ongoing differences with some guys and have run-ins with them on occasion. On even more rare occasions, thise side- or mini-feuds will lead to a PPV match.
So what are some of your favorites? I'll say one of the best ones over the past 10 years was probably Kurt Angle's side feud with Essa Rios. The two never had a major feud that culminated on PPV, but it was clear they didn't get along and would occasionally fill time with their shenanigans.
Another decent one involved Chris Jericho and Test in early 2003. WWE couldn't stretch Jericho's feud with Shawn Michaels over three months without having a match, so they simply kept Y2J busy with Test and Stacy Kiebler. Of course, their blowoff match at No Way Out never took place because Test and Kiebler missed a flight and Jeff Hardy had to fill in. Still, it was a decent way to buffer Jericho's feud with Michaels during that period.
What were some others?

Not sure if it can be considered a side feud, but I enjoyed HBK's rivalry with Batista in early 2008. It was after retiring Flair and before his awesome feud with Jericho.

Gotta be Rock/Hurricane from 2003. They had some great segments together.

The Miz/Cena mini feud was pretty cool.

Sheamus/Evan Bourne is a recent one too. I still remember Sheamus taunting Bourne after he was attacked by Nexus, and then running away screaming when they stood over him.
