Just watched NXT and saw Kofi in Bateman's corner during his match and sitting with the other pro's. Could Daniel not make the show? Did I miss something mentioned on commentary?

One of the guys on commentary did say that Daniel Bryan couldn't make it to NXT.

I believe Bryan was working the Raw event at Wilkes-Barre (the one Cena got injured at), as he mentioned it on his Twitter feed.

the reason he couldn't make it is because Daniel Bryan is now BATMAN's pro. he was out on some rooftop in Gotham City
