Wow, if they say that I can't watch streaming on my xbox and my brothers xbox which is downstairs, goodbye Netflix and hello Hulu+ You can still watch on multiple stream things, just not at the same time. So while watching something on your XBox, your brother cannot watch anything on his unless you have a multiple DVD account.

It is hard as hell for my family to agree on watching something, but this new policy f***s us over as we have the stream-only plan. Netflix is slowly pissing me off....

Netflix CEO Reed Hastings has split up Netflix. The streaming portion will still be known as Netflix. The DVD portion will be known as Qwikster. The site is up at www.qwikster.com.

"What's our companies main strengths?"
"Well, DVD delivery to anywhere and easy-to-use list management."
"Interesting...let's move away from DVDs. Streaming is the way to go."
"Well, I guess we could incorporate it. That's a good idea, but now Starz wants more money and our price hike is costing us subscribers."
"Then to maintain profits for NetFlix, let's just split it into two and call the DVD delivery something hip and cool. Fastyz with a z. DLiverEs. Like the food but surrounded with capital letters. No. Wait. Qwikster with a wik. Perfect."
"So, we're splitting the company up. Thus creating an unnecessary second site where people will have to manage their queues or pay bills?
"Oh, I'm sure they're just choose one or the other."
"That's...bad...isn't it?"
"Of course not, the companies will excel."
"Okay then...Uh...who do I work for?"
"No one. You're fired."

Eh, I'm willing to suffer through a second queue if I get video games out of the deal.

Eh, I'm willing to suffer through a second queue if I get video games out of the deal. It comes at a premium, much like the blu-ray discs. You should hold you're enthusiasm until you see how much that premium is.

Got an e-mail on the Qwikster thing a couple of hours ago, which is the first I learned of it. So stupid.
