BTW, nice coaching from Spo. Let's a 99-95 lead turn to a 105-100 deficit before finally calling a timeout. Dude was a deer in headlights tonight. His obsession with taking Mario Chalmers out of games when he's on fire and leaving Mike Bibby in until over midway through 3rd quarters says that clearly enough. or even better, Eddie "May 15th" House tonight.

Is it too late to ask Odom to give back his Sixth Man award?
These playoffs have shown that the Jet > Khloe's husband

Guess the TV ratings for game 6 (and a potential game 7).

Hell the dude has made at least two buzzer beating half court 3 pointers in this series(though one of them technically shouldn't have counted). You'd think you'd play a guy like that more. Hell I think Miami's best on court line up possible in this series is Haslem, Bosh, James, Wade, and Chalmers. Those are the team's 5 best players, and Wade and Chalmers can easily handle the 3 point shooting so LeBron can drive to the basket.

Man, Miami just imploded. I bet Dallas wishes the next game was sooner though, they don't want Miami to be able to regroup. I don't know. I know they've been able to do it before, but this is two straight games that Miami has pissed away. Yeah, they're going back to Miami, but I think time's running out for them. Dallas has all the momentum right now, Miami needs the break. Of course, Dallas needs the break too, with how old their players are. Either way, I don't want to wait until Sunday. This has been an awesome series to cap off an awesome playoffs.

It should be noted that the game-clinching shot was hit by "the very definition of mediocre".
Also, can we officially put LeBron James in the "completely and utterly useless" group of the Miami Heat roster, alongside Erick Dampier, Jamaal Magloire, Juwan Howard and Zydrunas Ilgauskas yet? We can't say that he's "quit", but there has to be some word to describe the absolute disappearing act that "The Chosen One" has put on since this series flew west to Dallas.

James did have a triple double, but he only had 17 points and disappeared in the 4th. That's not really useless, it's just not what you expect from someone who is supposed to be the face of the league.

No. These last two nights he may have shrunk faster than George Costanza in a cold pool, but "completely and utterly useless"?

If Wade is Jordan and Lebron is Pippen, what does that make Bosh and Chalmers? Bosh is Kukoc? Nah, that's an insult to Toni Kukoc. Bosh= Horace Grant. Good player who gives a team a solid third option, but also can disappear or struggle badly on the offensive side for long stretches. Now I know Bosh is not the defender Grant was, but Rodman wasn't a good comparison and Bosh is better than Luc Longley. So Horace fits. I want to say Chalmers is Ron Harper or John Paxson... but I could also call him Craig Hodges or BJ Armstrong. Joel Anthony is Bill Wellington.

I'm trying to think of other sports stars who are considered the face of their league despite being a total bust when it comes to the big games, but I can't think of any at the moment.

Speaking of Bosh, one of the NBA guys on Twitter (maybe Chad Ford?) said something along the lines of "many people in the league think it's clear that Bosh just isn't built for this type of setting. If he's playing Minnesota in a February game, he's catching all these passes he's butter fingering now and finishing strong."
Dude is playing pretty well early in games, but LeBron isn't the only one pulling a late vanishing act.

'Twas a bit of a joke, but I think the ultimate story of this year's Finals, barring some sensational performances in the next two games, is LeBron James' completely disappearing when it mattered the most in the NBA Finals.

Yeah, if Miami loses this series, all the talk (outside of how awesome Dirk is) will be about LeBron not wanting to go to the hoop. He's been afraid of the rim these last two games like Bobby Abreu is afraid of walls.

Sad thing is, right now, I think that's the story of his career. He's like the Phil Mickelson of basketball. I'm trying to think of other sports stars who are considered the face of their league despite being a total bust when it comes to the big games, but I can't think of any at the moment. Closest thing I can think of is Michelle Wie. She wasn't the face of golf,of course, but she was considered a phenom.
