I give credit where credit is due. Miami is playing some tough basketball, but I think Miami fans need to give Dallas credit too. I know I've said Dallas is the better team and to some extent, I still do believe that. But if Miami is the better team and has the better talent, then why are they struggling? If they're so amazing and invincible, then with an ailing Dirk and a streaky Dallas bench they should be destroying them. With the exception of Game 1 every game has been decided off of a final shot. So I think credit goes to both teams honestly. But I feel Miami fans believe Dallas is soft and don't want to give them any respect. On that same note, if Miami is mediocre, why is Miami taking them to the limit every game? Because outside of Bosh, Lebron, and Wade their bench is very mediocre and inconsistent. The same applies to Dallas too I suppose, although I'd say our bench is better than Miami when clicking on all cylinders. Miami isn't doing well because of Lebron or Bosh, it's Wade who is the proven leader and is causing problems for Dallas. I truly believe if you guys didn't have Wade and just had Lebron, Bosh, and the rest of the cast Dallas would've swept Miami by now(IMO).

In a lot of your posts you have good ideas and I agree with them, then you always seem to end with some random statement that comes off very odd because you can twist it by switching names and it means the same thing. Case in point: I truly believe if you guys didn't have Dirk and just had Kidd, Chandler, and the rest of the cast Miami would've swept Dallas by now(IMO)What's the whole point?

Basically the whole point is the media and sports figures overrated Miami. Although I am very well aware that it is with any sports team that is popular or talented, however, with Miami they started propping them like they were Greek Gods. The same logic could definitely be used with a team like Dallas, Chicago, Los Angeles(Lakers), or even Oklahoma City. I just feel fans, the media, and sports figures need to stop propping up Miami as if they're the second coming of Jesus. That's all.

I truly believe if you guys didn't have Wade and just had Lebron, Bosh, and the rest of the cast Dallas would've swept Miami by now(IMO). You've said it repeatedly, but you ignored the question. If Miami is a mediocre team, like you've repeatedly stated, then why hasn't Miami swept them? If Dallas is so much better, why has Miami led them for most of the time? If Miami is mediocre, and Dallas is barely winning when they're winning, how would Dallas not then be mediocre as well? Also, take Dirk from Dallas and Dallas would have been swept, so your statement really means nothing. Take Dirk from Dallas and Wade from Miami, and Miami most likely wins. Lebron has taken over games this playoffs. So has Bosh. Lebron had a bad game 4, yes, but you take Dirk from Dallas and Dallas would have floundered. Even if they have a better bench (which they do), they don't have anyone who can do what Dirk does. Yes, the media did hype of Miami, yes, they do focus on Miami most of all. That's what happens with the biggest superstar in the league. Happened with Jordan, happened with Kobe, and now with Lebron. Yes, fans (heaven forbid) believe their team is far better, and you're a shining example of that going the other way, so the fact that you're complaining about them doing it is completely hypocritical. But that doesn't mean Miami is a mediocre team. That doesn't mean they didn't win as many games as they did or that they don't have the stats for it. The way they've played in this series proves that they aren't a mediocre team. They've beaten Dallas twice and had them close two more times, but couldn't finish. If Miami is mediocre, then it'd mean that Dallas is mediocre as well, because Dallas has been on their heels for much of the series. Also, I should note, I'm not a Heat fan. I actually want to see Dallas win because I think they have several players that deserve it. I'm an OKC fan, but grew up loving the Utah Jazz.

lol, last year it was Delonte West sleeping with LeBron's mom, and this year it's Rashard Lewis sleeping with LeBron's fiancee. No idea where this rumor started, but it's lighting up Twitter today. Next season in the finals: LeBron's dad seduced by WNBA superstar.

The possible deal that would send Monta Ellis to the Sixers in exchange for Andre Iguodala is a "50-50" proposition at the moment, sources tell CBS' Ken Berger.

I assume that's due to lack of interest in it. But yeah, I kinda chuckle every time I see Dwight Howard make his serious face and stare into the camera, trying to convince us that the WNBA is a great product to watch.

Why is it that basketball has always done a great job with advertising and promoting its stars, yet baseball doesn't?

I also think the nature of the game has something to do with it. A superstar basketball player will generally have a lot more of an effect on his team than a superstar baseball player. They're more visible, they'll get to put on a show, and if they're good enough their team will be better. A superstar baseball player really has a small impact in any given game.

When did the NBA become the NFL? That foul against Chandler may as well have been tomorrow. Late call much? I hate that.
