So I went back to Wal-Mart but not the one I frequently go to, since I read in a news report that they were going to have some more DVDs due to Wrestlemania coming up. The weird thing was I went there and one of the DVD endcaps did have some Wrestlemania decoration around it, but there were no WWE DVDs in it. They did have a couple of those $10 2-packs though, but only the Rock/Cena one and the Kane/Elimination Chamber set, which I bought. Though I already have the Kane set from a $5 Wal-Mart bin, it was in a standard case. However, with them being bundled together, the cardboard packaging got a bit mangled. They also had a couple other sets for $10 like the Greatest Stars of the '90s and Best PPV Matches 2009-2010 but I already have those.
Also, I went to Toys R Us and they had a few sets for $12.99 there, namely Cena's My Life (which is bundled with the Rock set at Wal-Mart), the Jericho set, Wrestlemania 26, and Undertaker's Deadliest Matches. I don't know if many of those would be considered a deal but I did pick up the Undertaker set.

To those that gave the Smackdown 10th anniversary set: does it have the pop up facts like the Raw DVD? If so I'll probably pass on it.

On wwedvdnews.com they are reporting that a DVD/Blu Ray on Undertakers WM streak is coming out on July 24th. Since a Blu is also being released I imagine that this will be a comphrehensive set with a documentary. Personally I feel it's way too soon for this unless Taker has wrestled his last match. Even then this would be better suited for when he goes into the hall of fame. Hopefully it's a decent release that's better than that 15 - 0 POS release from a few years back. Of course the two main problems with this set is that for one, every streak match has been released already. Granted some are only on the Anthology sets, but the point remains. Number two, a good number of Takers WM matches are between forgettable to flat out terrible. So in my opinion this set needs a strong doc. It's also kinda ironic that someone made a thread on here asking if people wanted a 20 - 0 set. In other news just got this... And with Wrestlemania 24 going out of print for the foreseeable future, I grabbed a sealed copy of the WM 24 Blu Ray, and also grabbed this on Amazon for 16.95 sealed... You can still get these on Amazon. They are from a marketplace seller, but it's fufilled by Amazon so it's the same as buying directly from them.

From WWEDVDNews.com: WWE Producing New John Cena & Zack Ryder DVD Releases This Year? It appears WWE might be planning to begin a new series of DVDs entitled “Superstar Collection” – each title to profile one WWE Superstar on the current talent roster, and released on DVD format as a single or double-disc set. According to VideoETA’s schedule, WWE will release these two titles on July 10th: WWE: Superstar Collection – John Cena [DVD] WWE: Superstar Collection – Zack Ryder [DVD] We’re hoping to have a verdict this week on whether or not these titles (and the Undertaker Streak DVD) are still scheduled to be incoming. Stay tuned. As for the now rumored Brock Lesnar DVD, we know first hand that WWE were already considering releasing this last year. With Lesnar back in the fold, perhaps it’s now only a matter of time.

Why the shit is WWE bringing out a Zack Ryder DVD? I know he's pretty over as of late but what exactly has he done to warrant a DVD?

WrestleMania XXVIII has been taken down as well. I wouldn't worry too much about it. Either it's a licensing issue or Silver Vision's contract is coming up.

I'm pretty excited about the Superstar Collection concept. I loved WCW's Superstar Series VHS tapes, and WWF's 1hr VHS compilations I always found interesting too. I felt they were revealing in how they capsulize angles and present them as complete narratives as they were intended to be received by the audience.

Apparently the TLC Blu-Ray from the UK doesn't work on US DVD players.

WWE should be releasing them on Blu in the US in the first place. Its not like the PPV's outside of WM sell tons of copies. Just go back to the combo pack concept and call it good.
