I'm just starting to get into getting wrestling DVDs, what are the ones that are the consensus "must owns"? The Ladder Match, can't tell you how many times I've rewatched that thing.

I'm just starting to get into getting wrestling DVDs, what are the ones that are the consensus "must owns"? I'd honestly recommend getting Netflix's streaming service. It's pretty cheap, and they have a ton of the WWE documentaries on there. It's a great way to preview stuff to see if you'd want to buy it on disc. They just added several more things yesterday, including the brand-new Rock documentary that came out just before WrestleMania this year.

Just started the History of the WWE Championship on Netflix, is it any good? If you don't own a lot of the matches on the set, then it's great. If you do, then it'll be A LOT of fast-forwarding.

Really? I don't mean to sound like a dick when saying this but what's so great on this set that's not on the others? I genuinely want to know. I have Hulk Still Rules and the Ultimate Anthology (with the bonus exclusive 4th disc) and after both of those sets, I never really felt the need to watch MORE Hogan matches. Mr. T and Hogan shopping for stuff.... I said in another thread how i am looking at getting that dvd because it has a lot of matches that haven't been re-released a thousand times, and i am also a fan of the guys he works with. Such as Earthquake, they have never released much of Tenta's solo work in the WWF. I think was a good change for WWE to make sets with mostly unreleased stuff. Too bad they didnt keep it up (The ECW set coming out in July being the only one planned)

Just how many different sets is HBK vs. Mankind from Mind Games on?

Just checked over at thehistoryofwwe.com and HBK/Mankind is on the following: Shawn Michaels: Heartbreak Express Tour (VHS re-released on Tagged Classics) Mick Foley: Hard Knocks and Cheap Pops Mick Foley: Greatest Hits and Misses Shawn Michaels: From the Vault The History of the WWE Championship

The HBK/Undertaker and Mankind/Undertaker HIAC's have been on so many comps in the past that if you can think of a topic for any of those men, that particular match will be on there.

I hope its in good condition. If i needed it, I'd get the one priced at 17.77 since its Prime eligible. But then not everyone has Prime.

My disc was loose, but no heavy scratches were accrued. Then if you need money, you can EASILY get 2x that on Ebay. Ain't this a wonderful world?

I remember being surprised to get that for under $10 on ebay last year, I wonder if it's not really that rare, like if they made a whole bunch of them or something.

Went back to the Blockbuster that's closing down in town and picked up One Night Stand 2007 with the bonus Blockbuster disc. But that was the last WWE DVD left. I'm kinda bummed because the Wrestlemania 23 bonus disc had the ECW vs New Blood match the night after that should've been on Wrestlemania and I wanna own that.

The history of the World Heavyweight Championship (the one with the big gold belt on the cover) is also an underrated disc. Lots of rare old school stuff on the first disc, and the second and 3rd disc arent too shabby either. The documentary is interesting as well, but gets rushed near the end.

I really seriously hope that the HBK/Bret Rivalries DVD has closed the door on the screwjob.

Added some more DVD's to my modest collection via 10 dollar promo code from gohastings.
WWF Inside Tough Enough Road Warriors: Life and Death... WWF Attitude Collection: TLC - Tables, Ladders, Chairs D-Generation X (2006 re-release)
The surprising part was that I paid 4.67 for the Road Warriors set, thinking nothing of it other than it was used copy. But it ended up being a brand new sealed copy. I went back to the site to check, and yes, the Road Warriors DVD is less than 5 dollars brand new. So if anyone is wanting that set, thats a very good price for a sealed copy.
Also, gohastings.com is having a 33% off sale this weekend with the code SIDESHOWBOB.
EDIT: Just picked up Before They Were WWF Superstars, and ECW Bloodsport for 8.68. Not bad.
