I feel so wrong for laughing at this joke as I love and respect Michael J. Fox. This was one of the jokes where I think Family Guy went too far with as it didn't need to go that long.

Yeah, kinda.
Though I personally think the parkinsons jokes fall into my dethroning moment of fail when it comes to this show.

Didn't care for this one, or the Zorro joke, but I will admit I laughed pretty hard at the Stewie/BttF one. It's the one where they're spoofing the end of BttF and Marty yells "Stewie! I have to tell you about the future!!!" and Stewie goes "No Michael, I have to tell you about your future"
I understand the whole 'If anything is fair, everything is fair" mentality, so they can feel free to make the jokes because it's their right to make them, but I just didn't find them funny.

Yeah that was a bit "far", but not too far. I think the best "middle ground" was this one:
I laughed at that one. I mean yeah I felt a bit ashamed, but it was subtle enough.

Yup, that's the one I was referring to. I didn't seem nearly as mean spirited as the other 2, and it was actually kinda cleaver and funny

I can agree with you guys on the BttF joke. I did chuckle at that.

I don't think it's that bad. However, it would have been a lot less offensive if they just went with the explanation and didn't show it.

It's of questionable taste, but I think if a show is open about the fact that anyone is fair game, then so be it.
I do think the way they presented the joke was original at least.

I wasn't offended, but it would have been funnier if they ended it at the check and the "I don't think I can cash this." Yeah, it's mean, but he's a public figure and it's realistically going to be something that comes his way.

I only laughed at the written check part, the rest was very meh! ^ Classic example of trying too hard. Leaving the viewer to mentally picture MJF Parkinsons-ing out a check and the hereafter is quite enough. The joke could've trailed off there and been just fine. The joke; it insists upon itself.

Usually, it's better to "show, not tell" but they had already done a decent enough job with the joke. They should have either just gone with the joke, which would have been weak, or do up until the check, which was admittedly amusing.
