Most important question of this reboot.
What will Supergirl's origin be this time around, how will she be introduced, and will she get her headband back?

I only hope that this reboot is a clean reboot, that is to say right down to the very core. The original Crisis was great but they still kept leftovers from the previous Universe cuz they just didn't want to get rid of them, and those leftovers ended up being the seeds of weeds that basically took us to were we are today. Clean slate or nothing guys.

You know, the biggest surprise today from DC's Supernatural announcements is actually the lack of Spectre, Phantom Stranger, and Dr. Fate, since they are pretty much their three biggest supernatural characters (depending on how you feel about Zatanna), while minor characters like I Vampire, Voodoo, Ressurrection Man, and Frankenstein get titles.
I never read Grant Morrison's version of Animal Man or his Vertigo series, but is that the thing the makes him supernatural in some way? I always considered him a superhero.

You know, this comic almost made me reconsider my entire opinion of the whole reboot of Batgirl. Almost, but still:

Who's Sohmer and what did he say? Ryan Sohmer, the guy that wrote that comic.

Yeah... not really.
If anything, it's a wallbanger that she spent so much time in a wheelchair to begin with. Are we really to believe that in the entire DC Universe full of geniuses, healers, super smart telepaths and Aliens that there' NO way she could have been healed?

Are we really to believe that in the entire DC Universe full of geniuses, healers, super smart telepaths and Aliens that there' NO way she could have been healed? For the same reason no one in comics has invented a sure-fire "never a problem again" cure for cancer in comics. It's REALLY stupid for a company to have a "magic cure" onhand for a real life problem that their readers might suffer from. I've already seen several handicapped people complaining about this change, and rightly so. Barbara Gordon was a character that didn't need "fixing".

Magically fixing a handicapped person in a comic book is no more offensive that magically resurrecting a dead person.

The basis for never doing it is cause Gordon didn't want to be fixed, cause of not wanting some benefit over others in the same position, thought that was is also a bit shifty due to her own responsibilities vastly overshadowing the usual life of someone else who's disabled in responsibility and need.

Tim Drake has been retconned out of Batman and given a god-awful costume. Done. Tim Drake is forced to step out from behind his keyboard when an international organization seeks to capture or kill super-powered teenagers. As Red Robin, he must team up with the mysterious and belligerent powerhouse thief known as Wonder Girl and a hyperactive speedster calling himself Kid Flash in TEEN TITANS #1, by Scott Lobdell and artists Brett Booth and Norm Rapmund.
