Personally I don't think it looks bad at all.
Hey, the only character with belts and pouches is the one that logically uses belts and pouches, if this really was a cover from '97 everyone of those guys would be covered with them.

Done. Oh god, it's The "X-Treme" Teen Titans Teen Titans 2099 Also, I agree that there was absolutely no reason to take Tim out of the Bat-Family.

he could still be in it. the solicit doesn't really say much. Tim's costume wouldn't look so bad if he had a cape instead of that stupid feather thing. Kid Flash looks pretty cool (and it's Bart, so Wally's the only one still MIA), but Superboy and Wondergirl's new costumes are horrid. and I have no idea why a Tyranid joined the Teen Titans.

Hate that Tim's been taken out of the bat family but I do like the new costume *most of the new ones actually cept Wonder Girl's and Conners* willling to give it a chance. And the new Legion and Static issues got my eye.

I will say that the one title I'm stoked for is the Voodoo title. it looks like they're adding Wildstorm stuff in completely from scratch and doing it gradually rather than all at once, which is the smart thing to do.
still, if one day we get JLA vs. The Authority, I'll mark. come to think of it, The Authority would make pretty good villains in DCnU as a group of "heroes" who go too far. it'd be an interesting new take on a Supervillain.

Ya know depending on how far they go it would be interesting to see Manchester Black come back and join the authority.

Yeah... not really. If anything, it's a wallbanger that she spent so much time in a wheelchair to begin with. Are we really to believe that in the entire DC Universe full of geniuses, healers, super smart telepaths and Aliens that there' NO way she could have been healed? For the same reason no one in comics has invented a sure-fire "never a problem again" cure for cancer in comics. It's REALLY stupid for a company to have a "magic cure" onhand for a real life problem that their readers might suffer from. I've already seen several handicapped people complaining about this change, and rightly so. Barbara Gordon was a character that didn't need "fixing". And you're assuming they're going to 'fix' her. It's just like the initial 'oh, not a reboot' griping. That was quelled quickly by DC releasing news on FOUR Green Lantern titles directly running out of Geoff Johns 2004+ run. So the only thing we know for sure is that Barbara becomes Batgirl. We don't know: 1) Why? 2) How she's able to walk? Or: 3) What her reaction is to this? Everything we've said? It's an assumption based on hypothetical understanding of what the character wants. Until the story comes out, you're ranting over a 'what if' with no basis in the hyper-reality of her world.

Has it really been confirmed that Tim Drake is no longer connected to the Bat-mythos? From the Titans solicitations, it could be that Bruce has sent Tim to a private/boarding school since he is still a superhero from the beginning of this it seems.
Also Red Robin's new costume makes it looks like he stole Falcon's costume.
Surely DC knows some of these things aren't gonna be hits, even if they're good (Hawk and Dove, I Vampire, and a few of the other c-list titles would be lucky to last a year). I'm just surprised that some of these things aren't mini or maxi series.

Expectation downgrade. If you figure it'll only sell 5,000 to 20,000 a month, you can plan accordingly.

Hmmmm.
If Tim is no longer a Wayne, that's silly. And a shame, as I really enjoy current Red Robin. However, aside from Booster Gold stuff, this is the only title so far I'm interested in.
Certainly with that costume and look, the Tim/Kon shipper will be happy I suppose.
Still not sold on Oracle being out of the chair.
Still very worried about Secret Six.

While waiting for a bus, it just popped into my head, what if this post Flashpoint universe is less a reboot and more a House of M? Or even a Heroes Reborn? Give it a year an see if Babs starts having gun shot memories, or Tim suddenly knows who Bruce is or Roy starts shooting up.
If Flashpoint ends on a fade to white....

I for one am LOVING the Stormwatch announcement. on the one hand, Secret Six wasn't in the "Loose Cannons" section though Deathstroke and Grifter were, so I'm guessing that that series is done (for now, doesn't mean it can't come back) but on the other hand, the announcement of Stormwatch has officially sold me on the DCnU.
still waiting to hear what's happening to Power Girl, Wally West and the JSA, though.

not crazy about them getting rid of Midnighter's coat. other than that his redesign looks pretty cool. just about the only way DC could offend people more right now than with the Barbara Gordon walking again thing is if they made Mignightr and Apollo not gay.

I really REALLY hope that they don't neuter Apollo's strength level or Midnighter's fighting prowess just so Supes/Bats look that much better.
