Patriots routed the Jaguars 47-12. Anybody surprised? Considering that there is almost no difference between a NE starter and their backups (Belichick is that good a coach, as much as I hate to admit it) can't say that I am.

Brady Quinn is schooling Tim Tebow tonight, leading the team to our 2 touchdowns and a 23-16 lead.

My top 20 games for this season:
1. Saints at Packers- Week 1- First game of the year between the last two Super Bowl champs and a great way to start the season.
2. Bears at Packers (Christmas Night)- Week 16- The NFC's rivalry du jour. A playoff rematch. Green Bay coming off a Super Bowl title. Christmas night at Lambeau Field in primetime. Need I say more?
3. Ravens at Steelers- Week 9 (NBC)- The AFC's biggest, baddest, most brutal rivalry. Two high-caliber teams that are physical and successful. Always fascinating to watch.
4. Patriots at Jets- Week 10 (NBC)- This has surpassed Colts-Pats, IMHO, as an AFC rivalry, but not the biggest. Playoff rematch of two teams that can't stand one another. For a change of pace, they clash in the primetime spotlight at the Meadowlands rather than Gillette.
5. Colts at Saints- Week 7 (NBC)- A recent Super Bowl rematch between two teams known for prolific offense, great quarterbacking, and brilliant passing. A perfect matchup to go opposite the World Series- MLB will get swamped in the ratings by this doozy of a game if they don't get a World Series matchup of a big market or two.
6. Steelers at Colts- Week 3 (NBC)- Two-thirds of the head of the AFC class, piloted by two of the best QB's of this era. First game between these two at Lucas Oil- I was absolutely shocked this game is so early, though. I thought this would be in sweeps month (i.e. November).
7. Colts at Patriots- Week 13- Two teams that have been among the NFL's elite for a decade led by high-caliber Hall of Fame-bound field generals. For a change, it'll be in December rather than November- it'll be interesting to see what the weather conditions will be like for this one.
8. Eagles at Giants- Week 11 (NBC)- Philly's first game at the New Meadowlands since their epic fourth-quarter miracle last December.
9. Jets at Eagles- Week 15 (CBS)- Battle of two trendy Super Bowl picks, an offense v. defense clash, a late December clash that could have a lot at stake.
10. Falcons at Colts- Week 9 (FOX)- A potentially trendy Super Bowl preview. An interconference battle between two teams led by the game's better quarterbacks- young gun Matt Ryan and old master Peyton Manning.
11. Packers at Falcons- Week 5 (NBC) Playoff rematch in primetime between the defending champs and a Falcon team looking for a bit of revenge.
12. Patriots at Steelers- Week 8 (CBS)- AFC superpowers collide head-on. Strangely, their games have tended to be blowouts rather than close games.
13. Bears at Eagles- Week 9 (MNF)- Two of the NFC's better teams last season meet in a fascinating Monday night battle at the Linc (and a rematch of last year's ratings-bonanza of a game). A battle of contrasting styles between the Eagles speedway offense and the Bears' fast, hard-hitting defense.
14. Packers at Chargers- Week 9 (FOX)- It might not have the glamour or wide distribution as the other game in the late FOX timeslot
15. Colts at Ravens- Week 14 (CBS)- A potentially huge late-season game for AFC playoff implications. Great offense v. defense battle of contrasting styles in the December cold, plus you have Baltimore's recent history of being unable to beat Indy.
16. Cowboys at Patriots- Week 6 (FOX)- Two of football's more popular and polarizing teams meet up in mid October like they did four years ago. I don't expect both teams to come in undefeated ala their last meeting, but this could be a high-rated, high-quality game.
17. Jets at Ravens- Week 4 (NBC SNF)- Rex Ryan Bowl II- Electric Boogaloo. A smashmouth AFC game on primetime between two of the roughest, toughest, and defensively talented teams in that conference.
18. Chargers at Chiefs (Halloween Night)- Week 8 (ESPN MNF)- Possibly pivotal game between the two most talented teams in the AFC West combined with an electric atmosphere- a Monday night game on Halloween at raucous Arrowhead Stadium at night.
19. Raiders at Chiefs (Christmas Eve)- Week 16 (CBS)- An old rivalry that appears to have some legs for the first time in a while, with both teams taking big steps in the right direction last year. This could be for the AFC West on Christmas Eve at frosty Arrowhead Stadium.
20. Cardinals at Eagles- Week 10 (FOX)- The Kolb reunion tour in Philly.

Patriots routed the Jaguars 47-12. Anybody surprised? Belicheck shows that he has no emotions by running up the score of a preseason game. Also, I did not realize how many great games there were going to be this year. Holy crap.

Kolb with a bomb to Fitz. Fitz is unfamiliar with what a great pass looks like. He may come to like this concept... How quickly everyone forgets Kurt Warner.

How quickly everyone forgets Kurt Warner. I blame this guy. Of course he doesn't remember Kurt. Derek's run was a traumatic experience.

As someone from NY and a casual observer of the Bills, I can tell you that he's a great #2 WR, even good in the slot. He isn't a #1 for sure, but he'll do a job as a #2. Plus last season he crushed Baltimore, catching 3 of his 4 touchdowns against them.

After last night's game I wonder how many people still think Tebow is the future of the Broncos. Or a starting quarterback on any team.
