The Eagles: - Fleeced a desperate Arizona out of a draft pick & great player in return for an unproven QB - Got Vince Young to back up Michael Vick - Got Asomugha, one of the best CBs in the sport, laughing at Dallas in the process - Made other, less-exciting moves Andy Reid is the NFC equivalent of Bill Belichick, only without the success. Yep. Say what you want about The Walrus, but these are some really good moves. Not sure how they'll pay Desean with this, but they might plan on sending Asante out. But I'd love to see what all 3 on the same field would be like. I'm glad for Nnamdi. He gets to go to a contender and helps boost a defense that already looked explosive before he was signed. Also, I'm glad Oakland managed to snag Gaither. Gets to reunite with Hue Jackson who I think will really light a fire under him again.

So what were they fist-bumping about in Dallas? Rob Ryan had to leave before catering arrived.

According to Sal Paolantonio, the Eagles are in talks to deal him to the Jets.

First of all, I just ran through the halls of my workplace cheering like an idiot. I can't get this grin off my face. Other than that, if Philly can now nab either Braylon Edwards or Randy Moss all my dreams will be complete.

As a Raiders fan, my butt is real tender right now with Nnamdi gone. I understand it, though.

I will laugh if DeSean doesn't get resigned.

That Patriots/Eagles game in November is gonna be sick. Those teams have been in a Cold War of stockpiling talent.

I gotta ask: if Philly does trade Asante, then what will they want?
A first round pick? A linebacker?

@richcimini: Confirmed a report by @jennyvrentas: CB Drew Coleman to Jax -- 3 yrs, total could range from $6.2mil to $7.4 mil. Good role plyr for #Jets.
Jets needs to act fast and sign Cromartie now.
@richcimini: Word out of Chicago: Bears sign Vernon Gholston. He probably got about $59 million less than Nnamdi Asomugha. #Jets

For curious posters not in the Philadelphia area, Yes Eagles fans are already talking about how many Super Bowls they're going to win. Remember Philly Andy Reid is still your coach.

If Andy Reid hires a "Time Out Coach," whose only responsibility is calling time outs & using challenges at the right moments, the Eagles will become a dynasty.

The Eagles are one of the teams I usually end up rooting for in their games when I have no real rooting interest between the two teams. But I'll admit, part of the reason I enjoy watching them so much is just examining the game and trying to guess how Andy is going to shoot himself in the foot by the end. I know everyone says he's creative, but I don't think he's given ENOUGH credit for that. He has found so many unique ways to shit the bed.

They should get Nnamdi, DRC, and Asante together and have a pre-Super Bowl celebration at the Wells Fargo Arena...complete with pyro and confetti.

Would that make the Chargers the Dallas Mavericks? (team that kept coming close to a title but kept falling short)
