Would that make the Chargers the Dallas Mavericks? (team that kept coming close to a title but kept falling short) Actually I think the Jets are the Mavericks, but only because their top rivals are the Pats, AKA Lakers.

So Minnesota got better at QB, but still have a bad line. Washington just proved that they can't handle free agency Cincy showed they can't handle it either. New England once again shows how they get things done and, Belichick's home for wayward stars will once again shine. Two of the top 3 pics in the '06 draft aren't with their teams anymore (Hows that for all you Bush/Young fans) The Jets counted chickens before they hatched Philly Got wayyyy better defensively ANNNNNND to top it all off the old fossil is pondering a comeback...
*shakes head*
My Texans got better, and in the end, thats what matters to me.

Cam Newton signs 4 year/$22m deal with the Panthers. All $22m is guaranteed.

If Andy Reid hires a "Time Out Coach," whose only responsibility is calling time outs & using challenges at the right moments, the Eagles will become a dynasty. The Eagles are one of the teams I usually end up rooting for in their games when I have no real rooting interest between the two teams. But I'll admit, part of the reason I enjoy watching them so much is just examining the game and trying to guess how Andy is going to shoot himself in the foot by the end. I know everyone says he's creative, but I don't think he's given ENOUGH credit for that. He has found so many unique ways to s*** the bed. Oh, we Eagles fans are WELL AWARE of how Big Red always finds new and exciting ways to shit the bed.

Giants haven't done much in free agency yet. Just cut a few aging O-Linemen and re-signed Kiwanuka. Who's a fantastic defensive player when healthy.

I don't think Green Bay has done anything but let people go either so far.

Raider fans are burning Asomugha jerseys as we speak. (Starts playing the NWO theme in the background.) That got some serious laughs out of me. Good on Reid for the signing...but feel free to win something anytime now. Oh, and I thoroughly shake my head and any Eagles fan assuming we're a dynasty. Mr. super awesome CB doesn't magically make all our problems go away, morons.

Bengals did lose Joseph and have 49 mil in cap space... Of course, that would mean someone actually wants to play for Mike Brown. Oh well. You know what the sad part is? From what I understand, the CBA isn't definite on the minimum that teams have to spend, be it 89% of the cap or 99%. I'm pretty sure Mikey boy is waiting for clarification before he does anything. Anybody got a Cornette face I can borrow?

Well at least your taking this reasonably. One guy on my facebook is convinced they're going undefeated this year. And yes he's serious.

The media doesn't so much hype the Jets as much as the Jets do. Whatever team Brett Favre is playing on is like the Miami Heat. They're not even the most hated team in their own division recently (Spygate Pats that put up points, set off "running up score" debates, nearly went 19-0)

For curious posters not in the Philadelphia area, Yes Eagles fans are already talking about how many Super Bowls they're going to win. Remember Philly Andy Reid is still your coach. They're going to win the same amount they've won in their entire history. ![:P](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/tongue.png)

A few updates on the bingo game - I currently have cards from Koda, MGH, Richlen and Beardogg. Bergman still has to fix his card, and I'm working on cards for Grimm and Killah. So with me included, that's 8 so far. Pretty good for something I thought would bomb. - Because it was asked, and most people may not know, cards can have multiple players from the same team. - Finally, looking at the rules I originally wrote, I mentioned that cards can be altered until 24 hours before the regular season starts. This means that the cards only get marked if it happens during the regular season and not during the free agency period or the preseason. If any player get involved in an action that may make the event less likely, you are allowed to change it before the season starts, but be sure to have the updated card known about. For those that didn't see it the first time: officialfan.proboards.com/index.cgi?action=display&board=offtopic&thread=374723&page=9#7471191

I'm pretty good with what the Lions have done so far in signing Eric Wright and Justin Durant. I wanted Jonathon Joseph, bad but he got paid and good for him. This whole Stephen Tulloch is odd as we pushed hard to get him earlier in the week and it seems like all interest in him is gone because he's taking so long. I say good on the organization for not waiting around. We're talking to Nick Barnett, if we can sign him and another corner (Carlos Rogers, Cromartie), I'll be really glad with what they've done.

And now Green Bay is wishing LB Brandon Chillar and O-Lineman Mark Tauscher all the best in their future endeavors.
