As a 360 owner, I must say that that is complete bulls*** that you guys still haven't gotten the DLC yet. So, judging from that video, the fact that DLC wont work for some (even though it would work fine for most?), means that no one gets it. How about figure out how DLC is going to work across all consoles, and releasing it at the same time? Even if it doesn't effect me, I don't like the idea of the exclusive content deals. What's wrong with everyone getting it at once? (Is it money? I'm guessing it's money) Of course it's money. Microsoft, or indeed Sony, pay the developers a large lump sum to secure the DLC comes to their console first.

I've got the 360 version, and I want to get the latest DLC, though I heard it was buggy, but that was about 3 weeks ago. Have they work out enough bugs so it's reasonably playable on the X-Box? If you mean Hearthfire I haven't noticed any bugs and I've had it since release day. Dawnguard seems fine too. What are these bugs?

In fact the only times I can think of them getting DLC early is Battlefield 3 and it is only 2 weeks early, so big f***ing deal there. Microsoft is the only one that does this "pay millions of bucks for a month long DLC exclusivity" thing. And the only reason they do that is because they are too cheap to make their own first party games outside of Halo, Fable, and Forza(and all of their first party Kinect games that rarely look more than Kinect tech demos).

It doesn't even seem like a smart business practice. The DLC will come out on the other system eventually, unless it's Skyrim. Hell, even in Skyrim's case, they wasted the money, as PS3 users may never even get the DLC. I just don't understand why Microsoft does this.

Hell, even in Skyrim's case, they wasted the money, as PS3 users may never even get the DLC. I just don't understand why Microsoft does this. Really they do it so gamers will buy the game on the 360(remember, they get a cut of every 360 game sold, just like Sony gets a cut of every PS3 game sold). By buying a month long DLC exclusivity deal, they are only really using that to say, "Hey, you! Yeah you, gamer over there that has both a PS3 and 360! If you buy the 360 version, you can get access to the game's DLC a whole month before those on the PS3 and PC!" Cause that's really who they are targeting, the gamers with both a PS3 and 360. It is pointless for them to target those with only a 360 for this kind of thing. What they really should be doing, instead, is marketing how third party games run better on the 360 than PS3(even as a PS3 guy I have to admit that that is true for the majority of third party games). Essentially pull a "SEGA does what Nintendon't" kind of marketing campaign. Hell they can combine the two things, even. "Hey you! Gamer that has both a PS3 and 360! Did you know that most third party games run better on the Xbox 360 than the PS3? And on top of that did you know that you can get the DLC for most major third party games a whole month ahead of the PS3 version? What are you waiting for? Go get your third party games on the Xbox 360!" Something like that.

At which point Sony would have to respond with 'Hey you gamer, we let you play online for free, no paying for access over here, so the money you save on that means you can get the DLC later and still save money! Plus, Blu Ray is so pretty!'
I've always wondered, how much of the Blu Ray design does Sony own? Could they torpedo the Xbox 720 or whatever by not selling the Blu tech to MS?

They could probably torpedo the 720, but why would they? They'd make money off of every 720 sold/every 720 game sold. In other words, they'd make more money in the long run by letting Microsoft use it as well.

They get lulz either way, but only one way can get them the most money.

Also, to get back on topic of Skyrim, MS' holiday 360 bundles(you know, the ones that come with 2 free games every year?) have been, I guess, leaked, and as usual we have a "casual" bundle(the bundle that has Kinect) and the "core" bundle(the one without Kinect and a 250GB hard drive). This year's "core" bundle has Forza 4 and Skyrim in it.
As if to rub the salt in the wounds of PS3 players of Skyrim a little more.......

If you mean Hearthfire I haven't noticed any bugs and I've had it since release day. Dawnguard seems fine too. What are these bugs? It was hearthfire that I was talking about. The guy I was talking to didn't say what was buggy, he just said it was buggy. I ended up downloading tonight, and started a new character. So what do I have to do to buy the land so I can start building? As for dawnguard, I did notice one bug with that one. After I downloaded it, I started a new character, and when I got to the part when I went to buy the house in the 1st big stronghold (Windhelm? It's the place you learn you can shout), I could buy the house along with all the decorations for it except for the alchemy lab. I bought it, and the guy said he would have it shipped to my house, but the option was still there to buy it (all the rest disappeared when I bought them), and when I went to my house, everything was there but the lab (which I consider the best part).

So what do I have to do to buy the land so I can start building? Do I have to be at a certain level to be able to start building?

It's similar to buying a house, do enough stuff for people around the towns where building a house is an option and the steward should give you the opportunity in his dialogue.
I think it's Morthal, Dawnstar & Falkreath that you can buy land from.

Plus, Blu Ray is so pretty!' Didn't the PS3 have a bunch of exclusive Joker stuff for Arkham Asylum ? I've always wondered, how much of the Blu Ray design does Sony own? Could they torpedo the Xbox 720 or whatever by not selling the Blu tech to MS? Didn't the PS3 have a bunch of exclusive Joker maps for Arkham Asylum or something ? One of the few advantages of the XBLive Gold is that indie developers can add online leaderboards, ect to their games at no extra cost to them. Whereas with Steam and the PSNetwork they have to provide the servers themselves. Anyway, I've not noticed any bugs in Skyrim, apart from crashing to desktop every so often, I'm sure that may be a memory issue though. Not got Hearthfire but do have Dawnguard. Bastard vampire dogs killed my horse !

I finally got around to playing through this. One thing I don't like is that you have to join either the Empire or the Stormcloaks. I wanted to be able to play both sides against each other. I also don't like certain characters being protected. God dammit if I wanna kill Ulfric right out of the gate I should be able to lol.
And I don't know if this is a glitch... But is it possible to be turned into a vampire without someone biting you? I had Serana turn me so I could go into the Soul Cairn. Once we got out I had a crap ton of filled black soul gems, and I went to Falion in Morthal and he cured me. However after I killed Harkon I would suddenly start getting vamp powers again. I still had Sarana with me so maybe that had something to do with it. I went back to Falion again for another cure, and it hasn't been an issue since. It's just weird that I seemed to contract vampirism without someone turning me.
Anyone know what that's all about?

From what I can tell, you contract by just being in contact with Vampire enemies. and can get rid of it instantly with a disease potion or something like that.

You want a furnace and your spouse? You planning to burn someone? Did you mean furnished? You have to speak to the steward I think.

I decided to start another playthrough, this time as a destruction mage. Good so far and I'm still finding things despite this being my third playthrough.
