Oh, look at this, it's the trailer for the next piece of DLC, Dragonborn.
Already confirmed for release on 360(naturally), no word on when the PC version releases, and currently no word on if a PS3 version even exists. Of course.

The next Elder Scrolls game for the PS damn well better be $10-$20 fewer than the XBOX/PC versions. We deserve some sort of make-good from Bethesda.

If you want to adopt a kid, how do you get him/her to move to your house? I have a house, but when I go to offer to adopt the kid, it says "I have a house, but I don't have room."

Pretty sure you have to first furnish a room for the kid at your house. I think you need at least a bed and dresser, maybe, I can't remember the specifics.
Is there any way to make this game not freeze on me during every playthrough? I feel like it happens every time I play and it makes me not want to bother with the game for long periods of time.

Getting this game tomorrow. Comes with my Xbox 360 bundle.
Never played an Oblivion game before this. Have been warned it's very addictive lol.

Oblivion is Elder Scrolls IV, the same way Skyrim is Elder Scrolls V. I'm also thinking about picking up a X-Box 360 with Skyrim (you know, the one that has Forza 4 "Essentials" Edition), but money's a bit tight right now. I'll need to see if I can get it a bit cheaper somewhere.

Because we X-Boxers don't get DLC for free. We still paid the same price as you did for the core game, and we pay extra for the content otherwise. It sucks that they can't get the PS3 coding or whatever to comply, but you can't say you should pay less because you can't pay more for the DLC.

I'm actually shocked Bethesda haven't become a Microsoft only game developer. With the way they treat the PS3, it seems pretty clear where their focus lies.
On the new DLC, if 'Dragon Mounting' is just a Panzer Dragoon rip off mini-game, I may riot. lol

They've pissed off a lot of people by not being able to make their DLC work for PS3, and then even more by saying it would work for most people but not all, so no one gets it. A little sorry in the form of actual recompense would be a nice way to make it up to the people who were told DLC would be coming on purchasing the game, only to end up getting nothing.

Have you dudes even got Dawnguard yet? No. We have none of the DLC. Not even the home building one, which you would think even the PS3 could manage....... I'm not saying that the next Elder Scrolls game to hit a PlayStation should be cheaper than the other versions, but rather give the next PlayStation Elder Scrolls game exclusive content, and it has to be substantial content, at least equal to the portion of the content PS3 owners are missing out on in terms of Skyrim's DLC. It is the only fair thing at this point.

But to give them special exclusive stuff that no one else gets is crap to everyone else. I'm sorry you guys didn't get the extra stuff, but why should we be punished for that?

Getting content earlier is NOT a fair recompense for how they've f***ed over PS3 owners with Skyrim. Sorry to the PC and Xbox owners of the next Elder Scrolls game, but Bethesda has to repay PlayStation owners in a big way or risk losing their business for good. Another way to look at it is, us PS3 owners are being punished for having a PS3 and buying the PS3 version of Skyrim(some of us only have that choice thanks to not having a 360 or a PC strong enough to run Skyrim). So I have to ask why are we being punished for that? We shouldn't and yet we were and are, so they have to make up for that.

No, that's a completely unfair and selfish compromise that doesn't solve anything. The issue should be dealt with and aimed directly ath Bethesda, NOT with gamers on other systems.

No, that's a completely unfair and selfish compromise that doesn't solve anything. The issue should be dealt with and aimed directly ath Bethesda, NOT with gamers on other systems. It is being aimed directly at Bethesda. By making them make content exclusive to one platform, they are wasting man hours and money that they can't possibly recuperate. It wouldn't be the first time the PlayStation version received exclusive content, either. Assassin's Creed III, anyone(and that's just most recent example)? And I'm pretty sure Bethesda can't even do something like give the PS3/4 version early DLC access anyways, because I'm damn sure Microsoft has timed exclusivity deals for future Elder Scrolls games on lockdown. Thus the only option left for recompense is exclusive DLC. That's the only way they can realistically give PlayStation owners compensation.
