Anyone feel like they have no other purpose in this world other than to simply exist and waste oxygen?
I'm going to be a college freshmen soon, and I often find myself wondering what the point of going is. Apparently a college degree isn't what it used to be.
What's more, I'm a social recluse. Making friends is difficult for me, and I don't have much of a concept on how to properly interact with people.
Sucks...

I might feel like everyone else is a waste of oxygen, but certainly not myself. Seriously though, you only have one life, try to enjoy it.

I tend to care more about myself than my place in the world.

Nope. I don't have many firends, I'm socially awkward, and my childhood sucked, but I still think I'm pretty awesome.
And if you think a college degree means nothing in today's world, do something else. Join the military, become a cop or firefighter, or take a class to learn a trade. Maybe you'll find what you're looking for there instead.
