Do you think Jesse would have continued in his wrestling career if he hadn't been injured or would he possibly have segued into commentating anyway?

I think he would have ended his career anyway. Didn't he have some complications from Agent Orange exposure anyway before he was injured?

He probably wouldn't be remembered as fondly if he had wrestled longer, as he blew in a big way.

Did anyone else see this and think 'Well I'm glad he's okay'?
Anywho, yeah, Ventura's was always a better talker than a wrestler.

Did anyone else see this and think 'Well I'm glad he's okay'? Yeah, I though he might have been claiming an injury from being groped/molested by the airport security. Back in the day we knew that Adonis was the worker and Ventura was the mouthpiece. But that worked. Ventura working as a singles wrestler exposed his shortcomings to much to ignore. Great, great promo man, though, and even greater commentator.

If I recall Ventura didn't retire because of injury sustained in the ring. I thought he had developed blood clots and the risk of wrestling could cause one to break free. I may be mistaken, but was pretty sure that is why he retired.

Was that the same time he kicked down Vince's door after the 'schmoz' didn't happen properly?
