Superstar Billy Graham on Legend's Radio last night with Mike Lano and Evan Ginzburg said his liver was doing much better and he was feeling really good, and thanks his doctors and all the fans for the positive vibes.

What an amazing development.

I'm really glad. I hope he doesn't push it, though, and keeps up with healthy habits. He can't afford to let his guard down too much.

I'm sorry but...I knew it.
Something about that statement REALLY seemed suspicious.

He hasn't necessarily "recovered." He's still in horrible health, relatively speaking. Just isn't on his death bed as he had feared.

And maybe, you know, saying it was his very last public appearence coming up caused more people to buy his gimmicks than would have normally...

I guess we ought not be shocked. Wrestling is very few generations removed from carnivals and selling fans on the next whopper.

Wrestling is very few generations removed from carnivals and selling fans on the next whopper. Ya know, all those wrestling hotlines deals? Dirtsheets? Carny. Carny BS. The wrestling industry, from A To Z, is still pretty carny, even the parts that claim not to be. Same baiting strategies. "AJ LEE NYOOOODDEEEEE!!! SHE HAS EXTRA PARTS YOU DIDN'T EXPECT!!!!! CLICK HERE!!!!" "SEE THE FREAK!!!! SHE HAS EXTRA PARTS YOU DIDN'T EXPECT!!!! 10 CENTS A LOOKSIE!!!" What's the difference?

I don't care if he was exaggerating before or not. If there has been any improvement in his health, I'm very happy to hear it.

I guess those who are in bad health and make it known to others aren't allowed to have their health improve, for fear of being labeled carnies who are trying to scam convention goers out of money. Either that, or he's a legend who is in the midst of his final years, was being honest about not being able to do much traveling in the future for these kinds of things, and rather than die shortly thereafter, he let people know that he's showing improvement.

And I'm not saying Billy Graham's illness is fake. Just that he's in an industry that is not above exploiting this sort of deal for money.

I kind of do feel exploited. I'm by nature a soft touch and I hear someone is dying from cancer at the same time I know a family friend is dying of the same disease, my heart is already an open wound.
So, got worked by one, and the other actually did die.
Sorry, right now, not in the most forgiving of moods toward Graham.

He didn't say he's perfectly fine though. He said he's doing better. This could change. Maybe he was lying but to assume he was based on his career or a short little blurb is wrong. My Grandmother had throat cancer and they gave her six months to a year. She was dead a month later. So just because he's doing fine now, doesn't mean he will be later. And I'd like to add my Grandmother was doing better as well then spiraled down very quickly.
