I'm talking about the barber gimmick he had. I mean, after every match he had, he cuts his opponents hair to humilate them, something in wrestling that has been done before(the most famous one being Andre The Giant). Not only that, but several feuds he was in, HE provoked it.
In his feud with "Outlaw" Ron Bass, he destroyed his whip for whatever reason with his big shears, and as a result, Bass cut open his face.
In his feud with Randy Savage, he started it by calling his manager "Scary Sherri". In fact, he wasn't even ASKED about the new pairing, he just got into it. He then started a "Scary Sherri" with Sherri coming out and slapping him, then Savage ambushing him from behind, and even cutting his hair. You gotta admit, he SO had that one coming. But Vince McMahon played it up as a huge travesty, but it was all fun and games when he did it to many people before him, something Jesse Ventura pointed out.
All in all, it never made sense to me that he wasn't a heel during that run. He so could've used that gimmick against major faces, even turn on Hulk Hogan at one point and cut his hair.
