On the other hand, I'd quite like him to win another World Title. Yes, that would be new and exciting. No but seriously, I think Trips will do a great job behind the scenes. As for Tyler Reks, so far I don't see anything in the guy. If they were gonna do that angle they should've already done it with Sheamus who is a far superior talent to Reks.

I'm a fan of Hunter and think he makes a great champion. He and Cena could trade the belt for a years and I'd be happy. That's not to say I don't like new guys in the main event, I'm a mark for Miz, Sheamus and Barrett, but I'll forever be a Hunter fan and he can win as many as he likes as far as I'm concerned.

Fair enough, but personally I think Trips has more to offer behind the scenes especially since they've decided to push newer guys. Those guys are gonna need guidance from people like Hunter and I think it'll be good to have him in a position where he's not also competing with those same guys.

There is absolutely a case for that, and I think Hunter is a very good person to have influence in the company. Really, I'd just like to enjoy a few more matches of his and see him have a proper, Shawn-like sendoff. It would be a shame for him to retire in such a Kaval low-key fashion.

Does he even really show much of an interest in returning to the active roster? I remember in times past when he'd get injured HHH would stop at nothing to return as quickly as possible. Maybe he's really enjoying the new part of his career behind the scenes and enjoying the new challenge. But I agree, a run or two more and hang 'em up wouldn't bother me at all. If certain people like it or not, he's one of the most influential greats in the business and deserves a retirement just like HBK got. Honestly, in all the interviews he's done over the past few months he's seemed really focused on his new position at Titan Towers and sounds like he's really enjoying all his new responsibilities. I don't doubt that he'll come back for another year or two long run but it really seems like he knows that his future isn't in the ring, and is planning accordingly. I honestly believe he'll come back to help establish some of the younger talent, possibly have one more title run and put someone over huge on his way out the door. Although, I could also see HBK coming out of retirement to have one last match with HHH, and both ride off into the sunset together, so to speak.

I would like a list of Triple H's behind the scenes ability and big time ideas.. Or his wife's for that matter..
Because creatively, for the last 5 years or so WWE has either:
A) Had a good thing going only to completely ruin every big angle they come up with in some form (Nexus/Cena etc)
B:) Wish/washy constantly changing of the minds of seeming like they are going with someone to the top only to drag them back down creatively 10 steps (Sheamus, Morrison etc)
I will hope they weren't Trips' brainstorms. There have been some good ideas every now and then but they only seem to screw everything up in the end

They weren't; it was a combination of Vince not knowing what he wanted except that he didn't want to be seen as a wrestling promoter, and the harebrained ideas of wannabe TV writers on the creative team. That's why I think having an actual former wrestler would make way more sense-he's done it, he's seen what works and what doesn't, and he would see to it that wrestling is first and foremost in the program.

My only problem with Burials working behind the scenes is him pushing his friends rather than more deserving talent. However, if he actually creates something that is of substance and content and moves the WWE away from the wannabe Hollywood production then I'm all for it. I have heard he's a mark for the old NWA and old WCW era, maybe he could do something that would make it exciting again.

I know it's hard to believe, but there are HHH fans out there. And there are lots of them.
