If Koko B. Ware can get in the regular HOF, Drew Carey can get into the celebrity cameo HOF. I've no problem with it. I find it hilarious that people who are ripping Drew Carey were perfectly fine with Bob Uecker, who never got in the ring, getting in last year. Double Standards abound.

Might as well induct Carol Brady, Cheech and Chong, and the girl from Modern Family. Personally I can't wait for Al Sharpton's and Verne Troyer's inductions The long-awaited induction of Dennis Miller, host of the 2009 Slammys will blow all of them out of the water, IMHO. ;D

For what it's worth I haven't been okay with any of the celebrity inductions.

I'm sure his getting into the HOF has something to do with the advertising of Drew's new show. Maybe Vince is getting some money out of this.

"Welcome to Whose Line is it Anyway, the show where everything's made up and the points don't matter; that's right, the points are just like the WWE Hall of Fame!" I usually hate when people say the Hall of Fame doesn't matter, but... LMAO!

Because Royal Rumble 2001 was awesome. Does there need to be any further reason?

Too bad I missed that. But isn't he one of the few mainstream celebs (who actually is relevant to now) who is not ashamed of being a wrestling fan?

Because it is a hall of fame with no actual place or guidelines that includes a celebrity wing of a place that doesn't exist that already has people who have only had one match.

How is Carey relevant to now being the host of the Price Is Right, a show that the majority of wrestling fans don't or can't watch as its on a weekday when most people are working or at school. It must be that he agreed to show up. I understand that they like to do a celebrity induction, but David Arquette would be even more apropos than Carey.

Even the video package shows absurd this is considering it exaggerated the fact that he has only spent 5 minutes in a wrestling ring and the rest was just hyping all the things he has done outside of wrestling. If the video package people cant make you look good then nobody can.
I siriously think that David Arquette is a better name for the Celebrity Wing of the Hall of Fame considering he has actually done stuff in the business. He is well liked backstage, he gave all his money he gained from WCW to Owen Harts, Droz and Pillmans families, is a legit fan of the business, and he has done plenty of appearances over the years in various companies.

He was robbed of a Royal Rumble victory, as far as I'm concerned.

He's the only celeb mental enough (as far as I can remember) to enter the Royal Rumble. That alone deserves an entry under WWE's criteria.

Andre choking Uecker has been a WrestleMania image since the moment it happened. Drew Carey stood in the ring grinning like an idiot at the Royal Rumble.
