I'm very disappointed that Animal didn't spike Dusty Rhodes in the eye again...

I was at the HOF when Flair was inducted, I was in the very back row, and it was AWESOME. I was in the next to last row pissed off at all the empty seats way down in other sections and the number of scalpers outside who all seemed to be in cahoots.

Back from the show! I was in the second row to the left of the stage.
Diesel and Syxx coming out to celebrate w/ Hunter and Shawn? Mark. Out.
Abdullah looked really uncomfortable onstage and gave the shortest speech of the night.
People booed the Snooki commercial that aired between speeches.
I heard Lex Luger and Dallas Page were there but I didn't see them.
I know this has been brought up before but some of the people in the crowd were downright embarrassing.
During LOD's induction they put a Hawk figure on the podium.

Looks like chef (and TV personality) Robert Irvine was at the HOF sitting with Gail Kim.

Was the dress code for the most part followed? From what I saw, not really. I wore a polo shirt and jeans but even that was better than what others had on. I saw baseball caps, 'Mania jerseys, shorts, everything except what you were "supposed" to wear. There were some dress shirts and slacks here and there but those were definitely an exception. One other oddity: As we filed into the building security made us take everything out of our pockets. I think he had a portable metal detector.

Was the dress code for the most part followed? I'd say about 30%. I was in the nosebleeds with many of the smarks. Some of them are an embarrassment to wrestling. -Hacksaw was great. I remember him comeback promo in WCW after beating cancer and so this was a highlight for me. He did very well. -Bullet Bob was really well. Road Dogg handled all the intro talking including working in his intro bit for his dad. Must-see. Bullet Bob is still a sharp tack. -Sunny was really good and came across well. She mentioned Candido once and a chant broke out. She managed to avoid crying. -Drew Carey was as good as it could have been. Short and put the focus on the wrestlers. Kane doing his intro was funny. -Abby was short and sweet. Thank goodness he never talks. He's like Bobby Lashley. Funk doing his intro was hysterical. -LOD was interesting. Dusty did the intro and told some good stories. His accent got people laughing. I don't think Ellering was on earth tonight. He would ramble like he was reading slam poetry. At the end he put a Hawk action figure on the podium in a greatt moment. Animal was decent. -HBK was of course the main attraction. HHH pretty much roasted him about Playgirl, the fish-eye, the baldingt, assless chaps, etc. HBK said at Axxess he didn't have anything prepared and it showed. The catcalls really threw him off early. Then the gestapo came in and rounded them up and kept watch. He did okay but his farewell promo on Raw was better. This was more focused on his family and his love of the fans. Then HBK and HHH introduced Diesel and X-Pac on the stage and had a moment together. -And yes Flair was there. HBK mentioned "the guy who's name we're not allowed to say". WWE editors are going to lose a lot of sleep editing out the Woo's as they were constant.

wwe.com has the headline "Kid's in the Hall" for HBK's induction.
My first reaction: "Holy moley, a Kids in the Hall reference from the WWE? BONUS!" Second reaction: "Man, none of those kids out there are ever going to get that reference!"

Good to hear he talked about WrestleMania XX. I never knew that HBK was so close with Bob Holly. Really? Holly was Shawn's first choice to be his bodyguard but he realized doing that, his bodyguard would outshine him. So he had to go out and get some guy from WCW.
