JBL's near-comatose commentary in 08, where most of his lines are recycled Tazz lines.

I thought Fred Durst being in one of the games was pretty strange.

I loved using the gameshark on the ps2 games..had an elimination chamber table match that was always entertaining, As for amusing and strange..well in my 2010 while playing Edge or Shawn Micheals Cole occasionally yells something about 'Snitsky and that size 13!' I also like that since I have a caw who uses the ring name 'the Professor' that they always talk about educated feet, and someone getting a education in his matches..I totally thought I was imagining the prominence of it but then my brother played me in two player and noticed and so did one of my friends so...

Or what about in SD vs. Raw 07, 08, 09 and 10 (Haven't played 11 yet) where the commentators would say "STONE COLD STUNNER" or "SWEET CHIN MUSIC" when you hit your finisher and the kicker to it, your anyone but that person.

My favorite memory ever is when a buddy of mine played one of the one's with Hogan in it; we would always play Tag Team Ladder Matches. I forget my team or my friend's player controlled character was, but his teammate was Hogan.
I don't recall the exact details, but somehow my CPU player had just been destroyed, he was out. Then my friend and I squared off and I got the upper hand, hit him with a finisher, and tossed him out of the ring. I started to climb the ladder, when his CPU Hogan approached-- and proceeded to pose the entire time it took me to get the belt off the ladder.
My friend was screaming at Hogan- " He's right there! Do something! Hit him! Stop flexing!"
But it was too late, I had won.
Hogan continued to pose.

I had to face Angle at No Way Out with Mr. McMahon as the ref. I ended it after a single clothesline and a slow count.

I forgot about the recycled JBL commentary. Instead of Taz and his ECW days, it would be JBL and his days as the Hardcore Champion.
Since it was mentioned above, I miss those triple threat tag team ladder matches or even the triple threat tag team hardcore matches.

the season mode in one of the games that had the ECW storyline in it...only you could do it as Hogan...so naturally...Wrestlemania ended with Hulk freaking Hogan...doing the Van Daminator...
i believe that was the same one that you could get Hogan to call Eugene retarded during the story.
also, on smackdown Know your Role...Goldberg's moveset has a glitch in it...so if you assigned it to your CAW, your game wouldnt load anymore.

My friends had an epic revesal-fest in 2. We were in a Royal Rumble match, and they were the last two in ring, The Rock vs. Paul Bearer. Timing the button presses, they reversed each other's punches for about 3 minutes before the one playing The Rock slipped and got punched. Since reversals seemed to double damage in the game, and they were reversing a ton, it shot The Rock into and over the ropes as if he was hit with a shotgun blast...Paul Bearer wins.
I also remember finishers for CAWs in 2 were technically proportionate to weight...I maxed out my guy's size and weight, gave him the fame-asser as his finish, and the opponent would be KOed and out for several minutes.

It was one of the main reasons why I not only didn't buy the game, I didn't even rent it. Also, I loved the sample Create A Storyline that came with SDvR10, that was Santino looking back with Beth Phoenix...at the announce table, no less...at his amazing year when he beat John Cena and survived a 3 on 1 handicap match against Mark Henry, Khali, and The Big Show. Greatest...storyline...ever.

Also how does the Screw spinebuster, a move that presumingly damages the back, able to cause the opponent to be busted open? It was done on Ric Flair?

Another fun one - how they'll sometimes forget to take out certain commentary. Like how every year he wasn't in you'd still occasionally hear them start freaking out about Christian hitting the Unprettier, and in 2010 it wasn't too uncommon for them to mention Snitsky.

- The First Smackdown's lovely kitchen backstage area. Featuring unbreakable plates, a cooking platform that looks like a wrestling ring, and watermelons as weapons. Watermelons. As. Freaking. Weapons.
- Shut Your Mouth's ending cutscene, where you and your WrestleMania rival are confronted by Vince and are given 5 options, all marked "Shut Your Mouth".
- The ability to choose your character's post-match actions, ranging from beating the crap out of opponent, shaking his hand, or generic celebration.
- I miss 'Create-A-Taunt', especially creating a taunt that just consists of turbo-enhanced backflips over and over again.

I miss the variety of music in the older games, really don't like the much smaller selection we have now.

I miss the variety of music in the older games, really don't like the much smaller selection we have now. I just can't stand the random rap tracks, followed by screaming "nu Metal". And I'm not talking about the entrance themes that replay endlessly...I'm talking about the other random tracks they decide to throw in there. Like last time, you had that "Monster" song, followed by Lynyrd Skynyrd, followed by some ungodly BAD rap track. It was just jarring, if you were trying to make a CAW or something. Which is why I just tended to mute my TV and turn on my iPod after a while.
