2009 had the WAY over-tanned Maria. She looks like she's black.

Road Warrior Hawk having a speed stat of 9/10 in HCTP. That's almost RVD level of speed.

HCTP had a forklift backstage that you could drive around but had, as far as I know, no actual use in matches. Just random.

I am bad on the years but I remember I think it was 06. That my game had this anouncer obession on Edge. No matter who is in the ring. I keep getting all of Edge's lines when he not even in the match in anyway.
Who can forgot the shopping cart entrance in SYM and I think a couple other ones.
I miss the backstage stuff in the older games. More so SYM where you can go all over the arena. Outside, Subway train, To time squire. The weopons like the maniaquin, snowball fights, Spraying fire extinguisher. Throwing people in lockers. The shower, Through a wall.

At random times during any match on SYM, you'd hear this:
King: (shrieking) "What?" JR: "What the hell's going on here?"

Wasn't it him or Animal that had an overall stat of 90 making him like the 4th best stats on the game?

I remember the diva storylines in the first SvR game. For starters, if you get the Diva storyline for Wrestlemania, it leads to a triple threat tag team ladder match for Trish's services. The funny thing about that one is that each team had a face/heel in them. If I recall, if you do the Raw version of it, the team from Raw is Shawn Michaels and Christian, though with HBK being a Christian, it seemed kind of funny about him talking about Trish's clothes. In the Smackdown version of it, the rival team from Smackdown was Undertaker and Big Show. Now I laughed my head off when I heard Undertaker talking about Trish's clothes. Totally out of character for him. But I did read that if you start with Undertaker in SvR06, you get the Torrie storyline. Now that is totally out of character for him.

Anyone remember hearing that voice message with John Cena on 24/7 mode on Smackdown vs Raw 2008 that sounded like Cena was asking one of the THQ employees if that was ok or not at the end of the message? Oh I remember that! I always wondered why THQ left that in

I can't figure out how THQ cannot manage to get the commentary right. Over two console generations, and no improvement whatsoever. 2011 was the worst because not only did they have the usual crappy commentary, they chose the two crappiest commentators in existence.
Think of the disc space it wastes? By now, I wish they'd just give it up.

When I play Smackdown games, my stereo is normally on in the background so the commentary doesn't bother me.

In the First Blood match in HCTP, if you let the referee counter attack with a DDT he could bust you open and win the match.

In Smackdown Shut Your Mouth, there was a Storyline in the Season Mode where you got fired/suspended and the mode would then skip a few months when Michael Cole catches up with you as you're down on your luck.
If down on your luck means you're sitting in WWE New York having a drink while still wearing your wrestling gear.
Hard times!

I want to say it's not long after the Insurrexion PPV - I'm just going off the top of my head here - if you beat William Regal for the European title and were undefeated. I was just upset that no matter what option I chose, I still wasn't wrestling at SummerSlam and couldn't unlock anything.

Don't know if I can post the video or link to it but if you look up on YouTube the Search term "Smackdown SYM Credits" you'll see at 1:36 of the first video that comes up, a clip of Kurt Angle sitting at the bar drowning his sorrows.... in his singlet. While Cole stands there talking on the microphone!
