He's undefeated.
He swerved the smarks in the draft, and some of them apparently took it rather poorly.
He swerved the smarks with his "retirement" speech during the Nexus feud.
He posed with the "I Hate Cena" guys and had fun with the whole thing.
I choose to believe that Cena has a lot of creative control and power to suggest what he wants to do, and that would mean Cena likes messing with the haters.
Which is making me like him a lot lately, something I never thought would happen.

Eh Cena's OK but I am not a big fan. I get why the WWE is behind him but I for one don't really care for the guy too much.

Dear lord why do people still care about this?
You like Cena, you don't. Big deal. Let it go. Not even Cena cares.

I like Cena himself, but his character couldn't be more stale if his next shirt was made out of bread. And really, I don't think anyone will even care about him any more by the time Mania 28 rolls around unless they change something.

I'm listening to his reactions, and I dont' get where the "they won't care for him" comes from. He's the one guy with a near garaunteed reaction, every time. For the last 5-6 years. Plus, he's wrestling the Rock, in Miami, at Wrestlemania. He doesn't need to get cheered. And I love that everytime he gets booed a little people think some big upheaval needs to happen. You do know that WWE has constantly booked him in situations to get boos. They WANT that.

And what does that ultimately do for anyone That's a philosphical question for sure. What does anything in WWE ever do for anyone? My answer is that it entertains me. Which is all I really ask of it.

The mere act of you posting at a place like this makes a you smark. So, I don't understate this sentiment of "ha ha ha, the smarks had one put over on them" lol. This basically makes you some kind of second level smark, you're above something that thinks it's above something else.

No he isn't.
He didn't do anything. WWE management simply showed the audience that the draft is often meaningless, thus diminishing the importance of a heavily hyped event
Again, he did what the writers told him to do, which in the case of the fired (not retired) angle, was remain on TV every single week, thus rendering the entire stipulation meaningless, and thus having less credibility the next time a fired stipulation comes up.
Yes I'm aware there's a different kind of smark who supports bad WWE booking in order to antagonise other smarks.

It was indeed a swerve, How silly I was to think wwe would tilt that spolitght to let a beam or two hit someone else, have fun being a midcarder del rio.

The last draft pick was wasted on Cena, though. They should've just followed the Triple H route years ago and traded him for three superstars at the supplemental draft. That was my only beef with Cena and the draft.

There was no possible way they were going to have Cena go off Raw. A lot of people predicted that they'd find some way to move him back in short order, though few thought it would be THAT quick.

I may be the only one, but I thought the swerve back to Raw was stupid. It served no purpose.
