I just kinna see him as a soild midcard guy who the creative team has forced down our throats as a main eventer, a WrestleMania main eventer. There is just something about him that reads "non WrestleMania main event quality."
His recent push reminds me of when WCW was pushing Jeff Jarrett to the moon, even though he was never going to be a top draw.

I don't see that at all. He's got attitude, a distinctive character, a great story, and he puts in a lot of hard work. Jeff Jarrett was considerably more bland.

Pretty much. The people who like him seem to like him because he's not Cena, and thats ok. I'll give you his micspot for tomorrow right now.
MIZ: I.......beat.....john cena...at...wrestle...mania... when.....no...body....siad....i....could (Dry heave face)
He's half the wrestler of Jarret and worse on the mic. Heat wise he's Jarret, skill wise he's bottom half

I think the comparison is there when talking about overall skillsets. I think Jarrett was a slightly better worker than Miz is now, and Miz is definitely more charismatic than Jarrett was.
But Miz also has much more of a bigtime aura around him, at least to me, than Jarrett did. I have no problems buying Miz as a top guy.

Eh, even if you don't like the guy he's already doing way more mainstream media stuff than Jeff could ever even dream of. Plus with Miz he's been built up by one company this entire time, starting at the bottom and working his way up all the way. Yeah they've pushed him, but anyone that gets to that role is going to be.
Jarrett on the other hand got pushed to the moon in WCW after being a life-long midcarder. His was way more outta nowhere.

Raven once said that the chicken s*** heel are never top draw. Could we ever buy Miz as a serious heel ? He is still the chicken s**** comic heel like the Honky Tonk Man.

Don't see how he is being shoved down people's throats as a main eventer when people were begging for him to get this slot just a few months back.

Miz has busted his ass for absolutely everything he's achieved. He went from being a joke in the wrestling world, to the WWE Champion, to main event of WrestleMania.
Whether you like The Miz or not, you cannot at all say he didn't earn his spot. What you think of his skills aside, he deserves everything he's achieved.
5 years ago he was getting lapdances from Big Dick Johnson, tonight he main evented Mania. Hard work kids. It pays off.

Jeff Jarrett is a better worker than the miz and worked just as hard to get to that point. The difference is that Jarrett was not given the opportunity to break through, because of Austin's grudge and the top guys in WCW being unwilling to help make any of the younger guys in WCW legit main eventers.

I see what you mean. He's not believable, and there really isn't much to care about when it comes to The Miz

Don't see how he is being shoved down people's throats as a main eventer when people were begging for him to get this slot just a few months back. But was that because they thought that Miz truly is in the upper echelon with Autin, Rock, Cena, Hogan, HHH, HBK in that he can headline the biggest show of the year, or was it becasue he's NOT John Cena?

Jeff Jarrett got through to the top of WCW and did not impress there. Reconsidering it, I perhaps see some similarities in them being both associated with the midcard, but The Miz is still young in his career while Jarrett was around for a long-ass time stuck to the midcard in the WWF. I'm also big on character and I think The Miz is far more distinctive.
