Does A-Ri = The Roadie. And will The Miz steal The Olympic Hero Jack Swagger's wife?

Miz sucks. His mic work is severly overated, he's merely solid in the ring and he's pretty small. The only reason he is where is, is because he had an ounce of outside celebrity before WWE. Yeah, his awesome Real World/Road Rules celebrity got him everything in life. Because those shows are such a catalyst and all.

I see what you mean. He's not believable, and there really isn't much to care about when it comes to The Miz So, he's like Christian but with mainstream exposure.

I think the comparison is there when talking about overall skillsets. I think Jarrett was a slightly better worker than Miz is now, and Miz is definitely more charismatic than Jarrett was. But Miz also has much more of a bigtime aura around him, at least to me, than Jarrett did. I have no problems buying Miz as a top guy. I gotta say, Jeff Jarrett was a much better worker The Miz will ever be. And I don't think Jeff's that great, but he was very solid in an era where ring skills were much more important. Jarrett could go. Miz is on the lower side in terms of ring work during an era where its more about (scripted) promos than anything else.

That is bs. Miz was pegged by the office for a long time. EVERYONE on that roster works hard. There are people who work harder than the Miz, as I never recalled him being a workhorse in the ring. The fact that John Morrison and Dolph Ziggler bust their asses in the ring every night, despite the crap they are handed time and time again, could be put in the Miz's place and get the same results. The difference would be that they can actually carry a match. The Miz is an office picked champion, who's push has been manufactured, not picked by the fans. He's been given more than ample mic time than anyone else, he's worked with guys who made him look better on his way up, and now he's getting the glory for being a hard worker. His mic skills can't hide the fact that he's subpar in the ring, and if you're gonna talk the talk, you better be able to walk the walk, which is why his matches are not memorable. Charisma is far, far, far, far more important than workrate in the WWE. Miz has it, Morrison and Ziggler don't (at least comparatively). I disagree because without workrate, the feud falls flat. The Miz was a 3rd wheel in this feud because he can't deliver in ring on the level of the Rock or Cena. All 3 can talk, but only 2 can work the crowd, and only one is ELECTRIFYING!!!! Ziggler and Morrison have charisma, but they don't get the same amount of time or opportunity that the Miz has. Hell, Morrison's mic time was cut in half when he became a face. No wonder the Miz is viewed as "better" by comparison - mic time vs no mic time = Miz wins. Also, look at the last 2 years of Morrison. He's done some amazing things that entertain the fans. He got over because of his ring work. His IC title feud with Ziggler. Matches with Rey. His ladder match with Sheamus alone could have put him in the main event scene. His Royal Rumble moments, including the next night on RAW. The Elimination Match moments. No one would question if Morrison deserved a push because he delivered when it mattered most. No words necessary.

Don't see how he is being shoved down people's throats as a main eventer when people were begging for him to get this slot just a few months back. I sure as hell wasn't.

Seconded.
Also, I really think that revisionist history makes people forget how good Jarrett was. I honestly do. He was a good heel and a good worker. Could occasionally main event in my opinion and deserved a transitional reign (damn you Austin!)

The Miz was absolutely fine last night. The reaction was better than the awful HHH/Orton main event from 25.
The crowd was hot as hell when he kicked out of the AA. And then they go straight to the freaking double count out spot.

Miz has busted his ass for absolutely everything he's achieved. He went from being a joke in the wrestling world, to the WWE Champion, to main event of WrestleMania. Whether you like The Miz or not, you cannot at all say he didn't earn his spot. What you think of his skills aside, he deserves everything he's achieved. 5 years ago he was getting lapdances from Big Dick Johnson, tonight he main evented Mania. Hard work kids. It pays off. That is bs. Miz was pegged by the office for a long time. Really? Are you in the office? Were you in on meetings during the time where Miz was reading crib-notes off his hand while hosting the Diva Search where higher-ups in the company were saying, "Man, that guy who hosted the pie eating contest last night. He's gonna' be our guy." I'm guessing you weren't, which completely invalidates that little "fact" of yours. IMO everyone on the roster does work hard, and I respect all of them for it, but to say that John Morrison or Dolph Ziggler could be put in Miz's spot and get the same results is laughable. They simply don't have the personality to pull what Miz is doing off. If you put either one of them in a program with Rock and Cena they'd look minor league, Miz held his own and deserves to be commended for it. In short, Miz has that extra "something" that Morrison and Ziggler lack. That little extra piece of personality that makes him stand out during a 2 hour television show. Morrison cutting a promo at times is downright painful, and Ziggler only got to the level he's at right now thanks to his association with the heat magnet that is Vickie Guerrero. Here's the thing people tend to forget, especially people on this board; to be successful in the WWE you don't NEED to be a workhorse in the ring. You need to be able to hold your own in the ring, but more than that you need to be a character people connect with. The WWE isn't Ring of Honor where you need to be able to put on a 45 minute classic with Davey Richards on a random Saturday night in Plymouth, and this isn't 1980's NWA where you're judged on how many 60 minute Broadways you can do in one month's time. You can be the greatest wrestler in the world, but if you can't connect with the audience in promos, and entertain the casual fan with your personality outside of the ring, you're not going to go anywhere in that company. Hell, if success in the WWE was based solely on workrate, Primo and Chavo Guerrero would be main eventing PPV's all next year. If you think Miz is an office picked champion that fans don't want to see you're a flippin' idiot. He won fans over with his mic-work, and garners a reaction everywhere he goes. The fans are what made Miz a star. They could have sh!t on him, but they didn't. They connected with him and he ran with it, bringing himself to the next level. I reiterate my previous statement; to be successful in 2011 WWE you don't need to be a workhorse inside the ring. You need to be a personality that connects with the fans first, and able to hold your own inside the ring second. End of story.

That "extra something" you see in the Miz is a push to the world title, thats it. Really do you think a Ziggler, Morrison, Swagger or anyone couldnt ilicit apathetic reactions from the crowd like the Miz does? Do you think they could keep the ratings in the low 3's like Miz does? Of course they could. Most of what you post seems delusional, I'm sorry I just don't see any of what your saying being fact, it looks more like something Miz's agent would write and has no basis in reality. You don't need to call people idiots and insult them because they disagree with you.

Miz looks to do alot of the WWE-charity/media jobs, instead of being told to go, something Vince likes in his workers. The man is great on the mic, something that Morrison (when a face) and Ziggler lack. His in-ring work is solid, its not like he is the worst in-ring preformer to ever held the WWE Championship. Oh, and hes awesome

Miz is better but they really should of had him main event a couple of more PPVs before being put into the main event at WM.

Don't modify what I said I'll stand behind it 100%. Ive yet to see having Miz on top generate increased ratings, buyrates or increased crowd reactions. The majority of the heat he gets (when he gets it) is when some other more over wrestler is involved. He is a simple placeholder, easily interchangable with any other heel. I don't get where your blind admiration for the guy comes from. If you like him thats fine. But you dont need to create a worldwide mass appeal for the guy that just doesn't exist
