I think he could. It just may be that extra umph to get him over the midcard hump.

Not a chance, Graham had charisma coming out the ass. Masters, not so much.
Not to say I don't think Masters could be doing better then he is, because he definitely could be, but I don't see him being a perennial Main Eventer

While I think that Masters is the most underused talent on Raw, I can't see him as a main eventer. At least not yet. He'll need more than a gimmick change.

A few months ago R-Truth was boring, irritating, and all in all sucked (according to general popular opinion around here anyways). Now he's suddenly one of the best things on RAW.

A few months ago R-Truth was boring, irritating, and all in all sucked (according to general popular opinion around here anyways). The man spent years getting stadiums of fans on their feet chanting "What's Up" with him when they knew full well that he was going to get his ass kicked in five minutes once the bell rang, just as he always does. While plenty of smarkier fans didn't like his babyface gimmick, I don't think anyone can deny that it's been obvious for years that R-Truth is insanely good at working a crowd, and that's the most essential talent for pro wrestler can have. Back to Masters... I don't see him even becoming a headliner, but he's still fairly young and growing as a performer, and he's got a very impressive physique. I could definitely see him working as a solid midcard champion sometime down the line.

I think Masters would make a great Lex Luger type main event guy.

I'm confused if WWE are still "Punishing" him for him failing his wellness test all that time ago.
Even if they're not, his recent run has got to be one of the worst single runs of all time. It's just so... flat. I mean, his matches are passable with the right opponent but he really needs something to him...some substance.

It'd be nice if he could at least be the Masterpiece again. A gimmick he made work. With The outrageous heel entrance, the muscle show-boating and powerhouse grappling ; it really did work. He needs something like that badly. I mean I don't think he should be pushed straight into the main event or anything but Masters could defiantly be a great mid-card/upper-mid card placement if he had something - or someone - behind him.

Bad example because Truth has been around for 10+ years, and I was well aware of the potential he had. The character he's doing now is essentially the same character that made him a star in TNA in 2002, just with slightly less racist overtones. I do understand the point you're trying to make. But Masters, while I believe he definitely has talent and potential, has never shown me any flashes of brilliance charisma wise. And he's been around for like 5 or 6 years now
